ESTABLISHED BORDERS SHOULD BE SACROSANCT, YET WE KNOW THAT THERE HAS BEEN SOME FLUIDITY IN REGARD TO ACTIONS BY A CERTAIN EMPIRE THAT WE SHALL NAME AS AMERICA.

TAKE FOR EXAMPLE, THE COMMISSION ON SECURITY AND COOPERATION IN EUROPE. THIS IS AN AMERICAN OUTFIT THAT PROMOTES STRICK ADHERENCE TO ESTABLISHED BORDERS:

Respect for territorial integrity — the principle under international law that nation-states should not attempt to promote secessionist movements or to promote border changes in other nation-states, nor impose a border change through the use of force - is a guiding principle among OSCE participating States under Article IV of the Helsinki Final Act of 1975. 

Russia’s illegal occupation of Crimea, initiated in 2014, and its all-out invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, have underlined the extent to which this fundamental principle is under attack in the OSCE region.  Coupled with Russia’s actions elsewhere, including Georgia and Moldova, this challenge presents the single greatest affront to OSCE principles since the Organization’s founding, and will remain at the forefront of the Commission’s engagement. 

The principle of territorial integrity has also been invoked elsewhere in the OSCE region, for instance in Nagorno-Karabakh; the interplay between Article IV and the closely related principle of equal rights and self-determination (Article VIII) remains at the heart of tensions in various parts of the OSCE region and will continue to demand attention and engagement from the OSCE and its participating states. 

Members of the Helsinki Commission will continue to actively support the territorial integrity of countries facing Russian aggression and challenge Moscow’s claims to illegal changes in internationally-agreed borders.

For two decades, the Pentagon has been applying the "Rumsfeld/Cebrowski doctrine" to the "wider Middle East". Several times, it thought of extending it to the "Caribbean Basin", but refrained from doing so, concentrating its power on its first target. HERE COMES THE BATTLE BETWEEN ELON MUSK AND THE FORMER RUSSIAN PRESIDENT, WHO WE THINK HAS A VERY DARK SENSE OF HUMOUR THAT ELON MUSK WAS BY-PASSED BY….

Elon Musk reacted to a thread by former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, in which he predicted that the US will split up after a civil war and the Twitter CEO will become president of one of the remnants, calling it “epic.” He later clarified that he found the predictions “absurd.”

Medvedev now serves as deputy chair of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, and was given a new senior position in military procurement this week. On Monday, he posted ten things that he believes could happen in 2023, with a disclaimer that they were meant to be “wild” or even “absurd.”

The predictions ranged from oil being traded at $150 a barrel to the UK reversing Brexit and losing Northern Ireland, to an armed conflict between France and a ‘Fourth Reich’. The latter, according to Medvedev, would include Germany and “its satellites, i.e., Poland, the Baltic states, Czechia, Slovakia, the Kiev Republic, and other outcasts.”

For the US, Medvedev predicted a new civil war, with California and Texas becoming independent.

“Elon Musk’ll win the presidential election in a number of states which, after the new Civil War’s end, will have been given to the GOP,” he said.

Musk reacted to the series of posts, calling it an “epic thread.” Hours later, after people lashed out at him for supposedly betraying the interests of the US and his own businesses, he clarified his position.

“Those are definitely the most absurd predictions I’ve ever heard, while also showing astonishing lack of awareness of the progress of artificial intelligence and sustainable energy,” he tweeted.

Musk and Medvedev have sparred on Twitter in the past. In October, the US billionaire took the Russian official to task over Moscow’s military campaign in Ukraine. It came just after he complimented Medvedev for his trolling of Liz Truss over her short-lived tenure as UK prime minister.
