IN SIXTY SO SOON, PUBLISHED SOME YEARS AGO (2006), BILL FIRMAN MAKES THE ARGUMENTS FOR GOD… SCIENTISTS WHO BAT FOR TEAM-GOD ARE OFTEN USED AS A PROOF OF HIS (GOD) EXISTENCE… SAYS BILL: 

Scientist Henry Schaefer restates the five traditional arguments for the existence of God which are often referred to in astrophysical literature:

1. The cosmological argument: the effect of the universe’s existence must have a suitable cause.

2. The teleological argument: the design of the universe implies a purpose or direction behind it.

3. The rational argument: the operation of the universe, according to order and natural law, implies a mind behind it.

4. The ontological argument: our ideas of God (his God-consciousness) implies a God who imprinted such a consciousness.

5. The moral argument: our built-in sense of right and wrong can be accounted for only by an innate awareness of a code of law an awareness implanted by a higher being.

One can debate the validity of each of these traditional arguments but it seems to me to be overwhelmingly obvious that the only feasible explanation is the existence of an eternal infinite being we call God…

ONE MUST SAY THAT WITHOUT THESE NASTY DEVILS, GOD WOULD HAVE BUGGER OF A CHANCE IN MAKING US, THE CLEVER MONKEYS, BEHAVE, BECAUSE WE ARE WICKED… SO WHEN WE DIDN’T BEHAVE, HE DID SEND HIMSELF, AS HIS SON JESUS, TO TEACH US A FEW THINGSTERS ABOUT THE PRICE OF FISH IN THE TEMPLE… AND WE BELIEVE THIS CRAP?….

Atheists should fear the faulty assumption that nothing produced space, time, matter and energy at the beginning.

Atheists choose to limit themselves to only one cosmological option. They hitch their wagon to the wild fantasy that everything came from nothing. This foolish belief creates an irrational worldview. But unlike Christianity, which is an evidence-base faith, atheism has a religious-like devotion to the absurd belief that nothing created something.

Atheists should actually be afraid of 'nothing.' That is to say, atheists should fear the faulty assumption that nothing produced space, time, matter and energy at the beginning. This blind faith is rooted in a preposterous make-believe theory, without a shred of scientific evidence to support its impossible conclusion.

Lee Strobel posted in 2017: "To continue in atheism, I would need to believe that nothing produces everything, non-life produces life, randomness produces fine-tuning, chaos produces information, unconsciousness produces consciousness, and non-reason produces reason. I simply didn't have that much faith.”

LET’S SAY FOR ARGUMENT SAKE THAT GOD EXISTS… WHICH BEGS THE QUESTION: WHY GIVE A PREFERENCE TO AN EVOLVED MONKEY AHEAD OF A CLEVER DOG OR A DEAD DINOSAUR — IN A UNIVERSE WHERE BLACK HOLES SWALLOW STARS AND HUMANITY IS AS IMPORTANT AS AN EXCITED NEUTRON?
