At the Press Freedom Dinner, the main speech by Sky News Political editor, David Speers, concentrated on “fake news”. It was a bit lame in the sense that it became an expose of how fake news can change the course of history (but not that much). He did not mention that fake news has been with us since humans developed language and communication skills using a stick to draw something in the sand.
