Is America in a strong enough position to broker a meaningful deal?

Putin has seized the initiative, the world is waiting on him.

Putin knows power exists to the extent that you use it. America has enormous power but it won't use it. Putin knows Biden won't spill American blood to save Ukraine.

Xi may be prepared to gamble that Biden won't put US troops into Taiwan.

When Biden sits across the table from Putin, the spectre of Xi will be in the room.

Biden says it is not a good idea to bet against America. But Putin and Xi may well be thinking heads I win, tails you lose.

The terms of the game were IMPOSED by NATO... They call it the "Rules-Based Order" whatever shit... (Which is a euphemism for "you kneel in front of the Empire or else").

Back in the 1990s, NATO and the US "promised" not to move east. That is ON RECORD... They lied. Russia made some specific requests that Ukraine was never going to join NATO. Fair enough. NATO told Putin to fuck himself (more politely of course). Putin mentioned red lines, but the West did not want to listen. All the Hawks in the US wanted his blood. This ain't going to happen. The NATO bravado left Putin with only one alternative: either pack up and brood and let Ukraine (a hot bed of Nazis) become a NATO member and wait for the West next move which would be to install Nukes in Ukraine, like those already disseminated around Europe, including Italy — or show he means business.

PUTIN HAS NO INTENTION TO INVADE UKRAINE (nor Poland for that matter). Morrison and Abbott are complete idiots. All Putin has chosen to do is to protect the Russians population of the breakaway republics — who in the next NATO move would become fodder for the Nazis Azov mercenaries. The only way Putin could do this legally was to first recognise the breakaway provinces in the same way as the West recognised Kosovo and other provinces. 

Then the Russian army could come in these provinces and protect their RUSSIAN population that the West was prepared to annihilate in a discreet "genocide" disguised as a genuine little war... The Russian Army has not fired a single significant shot yet, though it is now on the border of Ukraine and the breakaway republics. ALL THE WEST HAD TO DO WAS to ASK THE UKRAINIAN GOVERNMENT TO ENFORCE THE MINSK AGREEMENT.

Now the game is over. Biden is an old snake, but Putin is the smarter of the two. Putin shoots straight. He tells it like it is and will be. BIDEN LIES. BIDEN TELLS PORKIES to sound like a warrior which he is not the bootlace of.

Should NATO implements NUKES on Ukrainian soil, Putin won't have any choice but to consider this as a declaration of war. And we are back in the 1960s with NUKES on Cuba  — as a piece of theatre, etc, though the Russian nuclear submarines can do the "job"... 

Joe Biden, be careful and honest. This would be a change. Think of Ireland as well...

THE WEST (cockily) DID NOT LISTEN... Meanwhile Putin isn't going to invade Ukraine. The breakaway republics (since 2014) have been under pressure to stop speaking Russian and to give up their claims of independence. Putin has demanded the West respects the Minsk agreements. The West has forced Zelensky (Ukraine president/ruler) to dishonour these agreements. Putin had only one way to protect "Russians in the independent republics" (which are not part of Ukraine anymore than Ireland is part of the UK — get this in your little brains): protect them with strong defences. End of story.

Netflix will stream Rhino, a Ukrainian film directed by Oleg Sentsov, starring Sergei Filimonov ... in the lead role.

Though uncompromising when it comes to the slightest discrimination against minorities, Netflix purchased a mediocre film that tells the story of a hoodlum, set in the era of Ukraine’s post-USSR decay.

Sergei Filimonov, who participated in numerous bashings against members of the gay community and was also involved in the civil war, is today one of the volunteers of the Neo-Nazi Azov Battalion which is "fighting" in Donbass.

The premiere of the film in Western Europe will be hosted by German channel ZDF/Arte.
