the US should not throw stones from inside their own glasshouse...

iraqiraq

"And despite Russia’s best efforts, the media – and everyday Ukrainians – are documenting this truth on the ground.

Russia can’t paint over the front page of the New York Times, which on Monday featured the bodies of a Ukrainian mother and her two children who died while trying to cross a bridge outside Kyiv in their attempt to flee to safety.

Gus apologises for the picture above: Iraq War 2003...

Russia cannot cover up the work of AP news reporters who captured a doctor attempting to resuscitate an 18-month-old, Kirill, who died from Russian shelling in Mariupol. Russia cannot suppress the social media post, confirmed and amplified by CBS News, that told the story of the 11-year-old Ukrainian boy who fled to Slovakia, by himself, with only a passport, a plastic bag, and a phone number scrawled on his hands. Russia cannot silence the Al-Jazeera report of Russian soldiers terrorizing Ukrainian cities. And Ukrainian journalists are risking their lives every day to deliver to the world the latest on the ground facts, such as Novoe Vremye reporting on the reckless behavior of Russian forces towards Ukraine’s nuclear facilities."

This tirade comes from U.S. Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield at a U.N. Security Council Meeting Called by Russia to Spread Disinformation About Ukraine.

Od course the Western media is aligned with the Empire — including our own Stan Grant, who may have been too busy making money overseas and being too young to remember the Gulf Wars... I was at work when JFK was assassinated... But this is beside the point. Here Thomas-Greenfield is an idiot throwing stones from inside his own glasshouse... While we have an op to destroy the Ukrainian Nazis and Ukrainian military by Russia, there will be some side issues:

Russia cannot suppress the social media post, confirmed and amplified by CBS News, that told the story of the 11-year-old Ukrainian boy who fled to Slovakia, by himself, with only a passport, a plastic bag, and a phone number scrawled on his hands.

Isn't this a pathetic diversion? We are talking about "death by pandemics brewed in war biolabs"...!!!! The US has been lying with NATO, about not going close to the Russian borders, but has been engaged in doing so since the day after promising "not to move one inch to the east". Pathetic...

And we must remember the Iraq war damages — these real damages  — see picture at top multiplied by thousands and thousands. These pictures not being staged, like many photos coming from the White Helmet terrorist brigades in Syria (note the delicate blur on the picture as not to impige on the privacy of the kiddy:

In Iraq, one more thing about DU ammunition that you should know is that when the munitions explode, they not only vaporise the radioactive elements, but do so at an astonishingly high temperature and with intense heat sufficient to not only incinerate anyone in proximity but to literally burn nearby humans ‘to a crisp’. In Iraq, these deaths were widely mocked by American soldiers as “Crispy Critters”. Photos were available but the Western media refused to publish them, and an order had gone out to recover and destroy all copies of these photos. This may be the only one that survived. Further comment would be pointless, except to note that none of these atrocities escaped the information blockade.

Keep throwing stones, Ambassador and the shards of glass from your glasshouse will cut your arse in million little bits... A comment collected from the guy in the street by Jo Ballsow, about a certain dead politician applies to Thomas-Greenfield:

"He was (is) the sort of turd that could block an S-bend…"

in ukrainian territory...

A Russian missile attack on a large Ukrainian military facility near the border with NATO member Poland has killed 35 people and wounded 134, a Ukrainian official says.

Key points:
  • The base, 25 kilometres from Poland, frequently hosts foreign instructors and NATO troops

  • Elsewhere in Ukraine, Mariupol is taking the worst of the bombardment, with civilians unable to flee without a ceasefire

  • Ukraine's President warns Russia is attempting to create more "pseudo-republics" like Donetsk and Luhansk in captured cities

Warning: The following story contains distressing images

Britain said the incident, just 25 km from Poland and close enough to be felt across the border, marked a "significant escalation" of the conflict.

US President Joe Biden has said NATO will defend every inch of its territory if Russia's invasion of Ukraine spills over into member states of the Western defence alliance.

Ukraine said foreign military instructors have previously worked at the Yavoriv International Center for Peacekeeping and Security, but a NATO official said there were no personnel from the alliance there.

It was not immediately clear whether any non-NATO states might have representatives there.

Regional governor Maksym Kozytskyy said Russian planes fired around 30 rockets at the facility, adding that some were intercepted before they hit.

At least 35 people were killed and 134 wounded, he said. Reuters was not able to verify his statement.
