China has added an odd piece of legislation that now bans people from ordering too much and wasting food.
Most of us have got too excited about the prospect of food and ordered more than we need. Admittedly, you usually feel terrible after trying to force yourself to eat too much, but you don’t have to worry about legal action. People in China will now be at the mercy of the law if they order too much or make binge-eating videos.
Last week, China enforced a law that was intended to reduce food waste. The new law has been introduced after President Xi Jinping called food waste a ‘distressing’ problem. Furthermore, the country has already made Mukbang videos that show people overeating or overfeeding animals illegal.

Russian pianist Luka Safronov, son of prominent Russian artist Nikas Safronov, handcuffed himself to the doors of a McDonald’s restaurant in Moscow on Sunday to protest the company’s decision to withdraw from the country in light of the ongoing military conflict in Ukraine.
Safronov, who is a body positivity activist and weighs over 270 kilograms said that he doesn’t want to change his lifestyle and accused America of spending the last 30 years getting Russian people hooked on McDonald’s and preaching that people can be accepted for who they are, no matter how big they are, only to take it all away and force people to change their habits. He said that the sanctions against Russia are being aimed at regular people like him.

Oh please, "fatso"! (I use the term with knowledgeable endearment, as your body isn't just skin, bones and muscles)... We of the Sydney Inner West, Australia, managed to get rid of "our" Newtown McDonald’s by ignoring it (some greenies protested in front of it with placards, as well). We did not need Putin and his henchmen to do the job...
