the governor was misled…….WASHINGTON (Sputnik) - Texas Governor Greg Abbott said he was "livid" about the inaccurate information he received about law enforcement's response to the shooting at the elementary school in Uvalde that left 19 children and two teachers dead. "Yes, I was misled," Abbott said during a press conference on Friday. "I am livid about what happened. When I came out here on this stage and told the public what happened, it was a recitation of what people in that room told me, whether it be law enforcement officials or non law enforcement officials, whatever the case may be, and as everybody has learned, that the information that I was given turned out in part to be inaccurate, and I'm absolutely livid about that." Abbott said he expects investigators, including the Texas Rangers and the FBI, to clarify every fact of the shooting with absolute certainty. The governor added that it is inexcusable that the families of the victims may have suffered from the inaccurate information.
"Do we expect laws to come out of this devastating crime? The answer is absolutely, yes," Abbott said on Friday. "And there will be laws in multiple different subject areas."
Texas Gov. Abbott on botched police response to school shooting: "I was misled. I am livid about what happened."
— Breaking911 (@Breaking911) May 27, 2022 US media reports broke the story on Thursday that law enforcement officers did not immediately engage the 18-year-old gunman in the Uvalde school shooting, but he was inside the school for an hour prior to an officer killing him. The Texas top law enforcement agency eventually confirmed that police delayed their response after the gunman barricaded himself inside the school and decided to wait for a tactical response team. "The decision was made that this was a barricaded subject situation, there was time to retrieve the keys and wait for a tactical team with the equipment to go ahead and breach the door and take on the subject at that point," Texas Department of Public Safety Director Steven McCraw told reporters.
"There were 19 officers in there, in fact there were plenty of officers to do whatever needed to be done with one exception - the incident commander inside believed he needed more equipment and more officers to do a tactical breach at that point... Where I'm sitting now, of course it was not the right decision. It was the wrong decision, period."
The gunman fired about 100 rounds from his assault rifle inside the school, according to police. The Wall Street Journal reported that Angeli Rose Gomez, a parent of several students that were inside the elementary school during the shooting, was one of numerous parents who urgently pleaded with police officers to charge into the school after seeing their delayed response to the incident. She was eventually arrested by federal law enforcement officers who claimed she was intervening in an active investigation, the report said.

BY ANDREW ANGLIN
Texas Senator Ted Cruz was asked on Thursday by as reporter from Sky News why mass shootings only happen in America. He couldn’t answer the question. The slovenly and disheveled Senator went into a hissy fit, and tried to reframe the question. It looked very bad, and certainly feeds into the leftist narrative about the need for gun control.
I don’t expect Ted Cruz to ever say anything that I care about in any situation, but here’s the thing: it’s a good question.
Why do these shootings only happen in America?
If you don’t answer the question, you are left effectively capitulating to the leftist narrative that “it is because guns exist.”
In fact, guns exist in most countries.
Here’s the map of civilian gun ownership worldwide:
Yes, America has the most guns, but most gun owners don’t do mass shootings, so that number is irrelevant. The fact is, in most countries, if a criminally insane person is intent on acquiring a firearm, he can do it. And yet, these weird mass casualty events only happen in America.
Actually, mass casualty events using rifles happen regularly in Europe, it’s just that those don’t count because they’re all done by Moslems. Moslem shootings have happened in France every couple of years in the same period mass shootings have been increasing in America. In 2015, 90 people were killed in the Bataclan theater mass shooting in Paris, which is more than the biggest mass shooting in American history, where 60 were killed in Las Vegas in 2017. But that was Moslems, and Moslem attacks are viewed differently because despite nonstop politically correct indoctrination, everyone is aware that Moslems are prone to commit violence in the name of their religion.
Islamic terrorism is easily put in a box, where it is understood. (It’s notable that on some level, the Brenton Tarrant shooting also fit into this box. It was a reverse Islamic shooting, and the comments sections of conservative websites showed that many people felt on some base level that it was justified as a response to the endless attacks by Moslems.)
However, these “loner” anti-social shootings for seemingly no reason (or some convoluted pseudo-reason) are considered much scarier, and they do for the most part only happen in America. (There have been notable exceptions, including a shooting in Germany in 2019. That shooter made his own guns, which creates a whole other dimension of response to the gun control arguments.)
If we admit that in about half the world a civilian intent on acquiring a gun can do so without much effort, then what is different about America?
Well, there are a lot of things different about America – none of which Ted Cruz wants to talk about:
These issues all lead to questions that need to be asked if we’re going to try to unravel the mystery of why these bizarre mass shootings keep happening in America – but no one in politics is interested in these questions.
Democrats say that guns must be made illegal to stop these events, and Republicans say that schools should be turned into prisons, having armed guards patting down everyone who enters. I guess they want the same for movie theaters, grocery stores, hotels, handjob parlors, and all the other places these shootings happen – just go full prison society with armed guards everywhere doing pat-downs forever.
Of course, neither solution would actually accomplish anything. No one believes you could actually get rid of all of these guns in America, and enforcing a policy of armed guards in all public places would just result in the armed guards getting shot first (it’s pretty easy to surprise someone with bullets). Most of these schools where the shootings happen have armed guards already – including the most recent one in Texas.
No one is saying that a study should be done where all of these mass shootings are examined and we find out what the shooters had in common and then try to come up with real world solutions. Seriously – have you ever seen any politician say that? I haven’t. How is that even possible?
The only obvious conclusion is that politicians don’t want these shootings investigated. Everyone who tried to do their own investigation of Sandy Hook got sued with a totally new form of civil lawsuit. What happened to the investigation of the Vegas shooter? Remember when that Mexican security guard who allegedly stopped him fled to Mexico, then was dragged back to film a bizarre hostage style interview on Ellen?
He had a handler with him and Ellen had a board with a blueprint of the hotel explaining to him what he did.

FREE JULIAN ASSANGE NOW.........................
biden the murderer…..
As president Biden, his wife and his entourage of teleprompters visited the site of the school massacre, the report on TV mentioned the anguished empathy of the president having lost his own son Beau, blah, blah blah..... Now this would be fine should we not realise that Biden is about to send 40 billion bux to a little shit called Zelenskyyy-y or whatever — a Jewish nazi whose armies have killed more than twice the number of children in the Donbass region than the loony loner of the shooting at the elementary school in Uvalde mentioned above, since the end of February. The difference between Russian troops with Zelensky's nazis is that at least the Russians hit military targets, while the ukrainian shoot willy-nilly at the Donbass populated areas.... Zelenskyyy-y is a child killer......
AND BIDEN KEEPS JULIAN ASSANGE IN PRISON. Isn't this hypocritical for a Catholic abortionist....????
