losing or stalemating, the american military industrial complex is in front.......

Scott Ritter is wrong

WHAT FOLLOWS IS GUS OWN VIEWS ON THE “SITUATIONS”…

Scott Ritter is very good. He can demonstrate with a few sentences how the US military and the US administration are incompetent and stupid in their knee-jerk responses TO THE WHATEVER…

Scott is on the money… The US military is woeful. but why?

The US military is huge and strong, but USELESS… It acts like a dumb/dumb, but why? WHY?

Imagine that over 20 years, the US military shipped about one trillion dollar worth of equipment to Afghanistan — and when the Americans decamped, they left about 500 billion dollar worth of equipment behind! How dumb is that?

THIS is actually the clever part… The US waged little wars, not real ones, despite people getting killed sometimes, not so much TO WIN, BUT TO MAKE MONEY ON THE OBSOLESCENCE OF THE BOOM-BOOMS.

If you win a war, you do not need more ammunitions. You go broke. If you want to make “military” money, you need to produce and sell more ammunitions, planes, ships, bombs, etc… but before you can do this, you need to blow the old stock up somewhere, in a little war that you can manage, but not win…. winning is irrelevant… thus in many cases— NOT WINNING THE WAR IS FANTASTIC — otherwise once you win, you don’t need new stock and you run out of need. Easy.

So the reality is that American stupidity is inbuilt in the equation of replacing (marketing, selling, manufacturing) armaments — whether the wars work out or not — better if you lose — or preferably be a “stalemate” in need of more weapons FOR THE LOSING SIDE (see Yuckraine).

Imagine that the F-35 is the perfect plane with no need of specialised (DELICATE) maintenance…. No return business, you go broke… It’s like selling you a car with a ten year warranty! Yes we know, the lemon we bought is protected by consumer protections, but this lemon is still our own lemon… and we have to go back to the original lemon seller “for fixes”  and “servicing” at at agreed “cost” in the free warranty, otherwise we forgo of the “warranty”… AND THE CAR WILL CONK OUT THE DAY THE WARRANTY EXPIRES….

With weapons, once you blow them up, you need to go back to the supply source, otherwise it does not fit “the tubes” (cannons)… Try to fit a Caesar self-propelled shell into a 155 mm US howitzer… You will have a blow out…

This is why NATO is trying to standardise (really substandarderised FOR PROFIT)  “all the ammunition and weaponry” to US standards THAT ONLY US MANUFACTURERS CAN ACHIEVE and sell…. SEE, NOW YOU KNOW WHY THE WARS FOREVER ARE GOOD FOR BUSINESS… AMERICAN BUSINESS!…..

Winning is for wimps!

ye old decoy....

According to Scott Ritter and I believe him, the Houthis made sure that "their" rockets could be seen and targeted...BOOM! But these were decoy... FAKES!

The US of course claimed success by blowing up "Anesta Kraut" if you are DON MARTIN FANS...  In reality they blew up DUMMIES!

Anyway, it all does not matter as long as the US government replaces the millions dollar missiles that blew up some blue aluminium tubes worth $10 dollars each....

Lloyd Austin: ‘We Don’t Know’ If Iran Was Involved in Jordan Drone Attack

Plans to bomb Iranian personnel in Iraq and Syria have been approved anyway

by Dave DeCamp February 1, 2024 at 7:12 pm ET Categories NewsTags

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin on Thursday admitted the US does not know if Iran was operationally involved in the drone attack in Jordan that killed three American soldiers. On the same day, US officials told CBS News that plans have been approved for strikes against Iranian personnel and facilities in Iraq and Syria.

When asked by a reporter how much Iran knew about the Jordan drone attack or if it was operationally involved, Austin said, “You know, we believe that this was done by an element of what is known as the Axis of Resistance, and these are Iranian proxy groups. And how much Iran knew or didn’t know, we — we don’t know, but it really doesn’t matter because Iran sponsors these groups.”

Austin said that if the Shia militias the US believes were responsible for the attack were not supported by Iran, these “kinds of things don’t happen.”

The US has said it believes the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an umbrella group of Iraqi militias, was responsible for the attack. Kataib Hezbollah announced Tuesday it was suspending attacks on US troops in Iraq and Syria, which was the result of pressure from the Iraqi government and Iran, making it clear Tehran does not seek more escalations in the region.

On Thursday, Reuters reported that Iran was reducing its presence in Syria after Israeli airstrikes on Damascus killed five members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) on January 20. In December, Israel killed a senior IRGC officer who was based in Syria.

However, sources told Lebanon’s Al Mayadeen that it was not true that Iran scaled back its deployment of IRGC officers in Syria. But the sources indicated Iran was taking some steps for protection, with one saying that Iranian advisors “have been asked to remain in Syria, but without their families.”

Iran has vowed it would respond to any US attacks, whether they’re inside Iran or against Iranians elsewhere in the region. The US officials speaking to CBS said the plans to strike Iranians would be carried out over a number of days.

The day before, US officials told NBC News the US was planning a weeks-long bombing campaign. Austin told reporters that the US was planning a “multitiered response” but did not publicly say what the targets will be. “We have the ability to respond a number of times depending on what the situation is,” he said.

Rep. Massie Hints at Impeachment if Biden Starts a War With Iran

The Kentucky congressman posted a video from 2007 of then-Senator Biden threatening George W. Bush with impeachment if he started war with Iranby Dave DeCamp January 31, 2024 at 7:15 pm ET Categories NewsTags

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) on Wednesday appeared to threaten to pursue the impeachment of President Biden if he started a war with Iran.

Massie posted a video from 2007 on X of then-Senator Biden threatening President George W. Bush with impeachment if he went to war with Iran without congressional approval.

“I made it clear to the president that if he takes this nation to war in Iran without congressional approval, I will make it my business to impeach him,” Biden said in the video.

In his post, Massie wrote: “In 2007, Sen. Biden put the President on notice that he would impeach him for going to war with Iran without Congressional approval. Consider this your notice [President Biden].”
