MEANWHILE: FROM LARRY JOHNSON Before I delve into the substance of the day, one more comment about the banning of my You Tube channel, (https://www.youtube.com/@former_CIA_larryjohnson). In a reasonably free country, one should be presented with charges before a punishment is enacted. Not so with Google. They are fascists, in the purest sense of the word. I stand accused of “hate speech.” The cowards at YouTube refuse to identify the “hateful content.” So, going forward, I will try to limit the use and links to YouTube. Remains to be seen if the people who interview me, such as Ania K and Stephen Gardner, will be punished for allowing me to speak. I will continue to post at Counter Currents. Fortunately, that channel is backed up on Bitchute. I will strive to use Bitchute exclusively and request that you subscribe to that channel. I had 10,000+ subscribers on YouTube. C’est la vie. I wonder if Google can be sued as part of a class action lawsuit by accusing me, and others, of hate speech for the crime of simply stating objective truth, e.g., there is a strong neo-Nazi contingent in Ukraine. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Scott Ritter and I did a roundtable with our mutual friend, Ania K, today. We discussed the continued vilification of Vladimir Putin by the US political class, the war in Ukraine and the genocide in Palestine. Stephen Gardner interviewed me on Tuesday and we spent most of our time discussing the Presidential campaign as well as the false claim that Russia is meddling in the 2024 Presidential election. I maintain the major meddlers are the FBI, the CIA and major media. All have locked arms in a desperate attempt to derail Donald Trump. https://sonar21.com/my-latest-commentary-on-ukraine-israel-and-the-us-presidential-election/

Russian troops have pushed back Ukrainian forces following their incursion into Kursk Region and liberated several settlements, the Defense Ministry in Moscow has announced. In a statement on Thursday, the ministry said that over the past 48 hours, Russia’s ‘North’ group of forces had liberated ten villages not far from the Ukrainian border, including Apanasovka, Byakhovo, Vishnevka, Viktorovka, Vnezapnoe, Gordeevka, Krasnooktyabrskoye, Obukhovka, Snagost and Desyatoe Oktyabrya. The village of Gordeevka is located less than 2km from the Ukrainian border, while the others are slightly deeper into Russian territory. Gains were also made some 30km west of the town of Sudzha, where the fiercest fighting took place early into the incursion by Kiev’s forces. At the same time, the ministry did not provide details on the level of resistance encountered during the advance. It stated, however, that Russian troops had repelled several Ukrainian counterattacks, including one near Snagost. The statement comes as Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky said Russian forces had launched a counterattack in Kursk Region, but insisted that “everything goes in accordance with our Ukrainian plan.” Kiev launched its incursion into Russia’s Kursk Region in early August, initially making some gains. Moscow, however, has said that the advance has since been contained, estimating Ukraine’s losses at more than 12,500 service members and hundreds of armored vehicles. Officials in Moscow have accused Kiev of indiscriminately targeting civilians and committing war crimes in the area, and have ruled out any peace talks with Ukraine while it has troops on Russian soil. https://www.rt.com/russia/603921-russia-liberate-settlements-kursk/

One security analyst commented on Moscow’s discipline in maintaining “operational silence” as it moves to eject Ukrainian troops from its territory. Volodymyr Zelensky surprised observers in early August when he announced that Ukraine had launched a risky incursion into Russia’ Kursk region. The maneuver began on August 6 when at least 1,000 Ukrainian troops attacked the Russian border using tanks and armored vehicles. Coming amid discussion among Ukraine’s Western allies of allowing the country to launch strikes deep within Russian territory, the audacious operation briefly created favorable headlines for the Kiev regime after months of steady losses as Russia continued to push westward towards the Dnepr River. But the incursion may have been designed simply for political consumption in the West rather than as a legitimate attempt to turn the tables in the Russo-Ukraine conflict, suggest some observers, with Kiev sacrificing valuable troops and equipment in its struggle to control a tiny patch of Russian territory. Security analyst Mark Sleboda joined Sputnik’s Fault Lines program Wednesday to discuss Ukraine’s presence in the Kursk region, which Moscow has significantly repelled in recent days.

‘No More Ukrainians’: Is the West Attempting to Destroy Kiev Demographically?
BY John MilesMillions of Ukrainian citizens speak Russian and maintain political sympathies towards Moscow. Is the West working to prevent them from becoming reintegrated with their historical motherland?
Russia’s proposed European security agreement in December 2021, bombastically referred to by Western sources as an “ultimatum,” represented one final good faith attempt on the part of Moscow to foreclose the possibility of war with Ukraine.
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs published two draft treaties seeking to halt NATO’s steady march eastward. The military alliance has provoked concern in Moscow since its establishment in 1949 and especially since the ascension of West Germany to the bloc in 1955, which spurred the creation of the Warsaw Pact.
The Warsaw Pact was famously dissolved as the Cold War drew to a close in 1991 but NATO – anchored by the reunified German state responsible for the 20th century murder of 27 million Soviet citizens – lives on, expanding its influence and territorial reach every few years.
“I would really like to see some documents from that [June 2021] summit in Geneva between Putin and Biden, because I think something happened there to trigger the Russian action towards proposing that security agreement in December of 2021 and preparing for the possibility of an armed conflict,” said Serbian-American journalist and translator Nebojsa Malic.
The analyst joined Sputnik’s The Final Countdown program Thursday to share a provocative theory about the US-backed Ukraine proxy war on Russia.
“Something was said at that summit that nobody's talking about, but I'm very, very curious,” said Malic, referring to the final meeting between the Russian and American heads of state before the outbreak of the proxy conflict. “Why are they doing this? I had a somewhat off-the-wall theory a couple of days ago that it all goes back to the [hypothesis] of [former US National Security Advisor] Zbigniew Brzezinski and his whole theory that without Ukraine, Russia can't be an empire.”
“Everybody assumed that this meant territory,” the journalist continued. “But what if Washington has actually realized that Ukraine can't possibly win this and never could and are basically trying to deny Russia Ukraine as a resource – both land, oil riches, resources, whatever – but most importantly people.”
“What if the actual endgame is making sure that Ukraine is wiped out demographically?”
The true number of Ukrainian troops lost over 30 months of fighting has remained obscured in mainstream media as Kiev wages a propaganda war to attempt to maintain the support of the Western public. But analysis earlier this year placed Kiev’s casualties at close to half a million, a number that has only grown since Russian Defense Ministry Sergei Shoigu expounded on the subject in April.
Observers say the war is possibly the bloodiest the world has seen in decades as Western countries continue to fund the anti-Russia crusade. Meanwhile, Ukrainian civilians have suffered an epidemic of drowning deaths as citizens attempt to escape the draft by swimming to freedom across the country’s border with Romania and Hungary.
Malic suggested the elimination of an entire generation of Ukrainians is not a tragic but unavoidable consequence of the war for Western military planners, but rather the point of the war, with the protracted conflict robbing Moscow of the human capital otherwise gained by its liberation of eastern regions.
“This is an incredibly cynical and sinister perspective,” Malic conceded. “But… when you eliminate the impossible, anything else, no matter how improbable, must be the truth. Because that's the only explanation that comes to my mind at this stage, because they are either complete imbeciles and are literally fighting a completely unwinnable war, or they figure out the war has been unwinnable and their objective is to actually have no more Ukrainians at maximum and bleed the Russians.”
“They've sort of said things along those lines themselves over the past two, three years,” he noted. “So it's not out of the realm of possibility. I mean, if I were a sinister supervillain trying to accomplish this, this is how I’d go about it.”

Chairman of the Council of the Other Ukraine movement Viktor Medvedchuk gave an interview to EADaily on September 12 about the causes of the Ukrainian crisis, Russia's mission and the destructive influence of the collective West.
"For a long time an independent Ukraine has not been existing politically, economically, or legally," Ukrainian opposition politician and Chairman of the Council of the Other Ukraine movement Viktor Medvedchuk told EA Daily. "The country is ruled by an illegitimate president who has usurped power, becoming a dictator."
The Western-backed Euromaidan coup d'etat of 2014 dealt a heavy blow to Ukrainian sovereignty and legitimate power. For 30 years the West has fuelled anti-Russian sentiment, distorted history and facilitated the rise of Nazism in Ukraine.
The Minsk agreements of 2015 corresponded to EU interests, but the UK and US, who sought to start a war, deliberately disrupted the settlement process.
Washington's plan was "to destabilize the situation on Russia's borders, and then inside Russia. The first step succeeded, the second did not. The US managed to break Ukraine and Europe, but not Russia."
In 2020 Ukraine got a chance to nullify the adverse consequences of the 2014 regime change through democratic means. "Our party 'Opposition Platform – For Life' won local elections in 2020, after we were ranked second in the 2019 parliamentary elections, and began to lead in polls across the country," Medvedchuk said.
But in February 2021 the Zelensky regime illegally blocked broadcasting of opposition channels, slapped sanctions on Medvedchuk and his wife, groundlessly accused him of treason and arrested him in May 2021. Other Ukrainian opposition politicians were also subjected to persecution.
The special military operation in Ukraine would not have begun if Zelensky had abandoned the idea of joining NATO.
The situation in Ukraine and in the world will improve after the West stops pouring billions into propping up Zelensky, who is a "political Frankenstein".

hot war....
NATO’s proxy conflict in Ukraine has been draining Western countries’ stocks, with Western enablers of the neo-Nazi regime in Kiev struggling to meet its insatiable demands for defense systems.
Western enablers of the neo-Nazi regime in Kiev are struggling to meet its insatiable demands for defense systems.
The Pentagon has allocated $1.2 billion for the production of Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAM), including for Ukraine, by the US company Raytheon.
AMRAAM missiles, capable of hitting targets at a reported range of 160 kilometers, can be used as interceptors for Ukraine’s US-donated National Advanced Surface-to Air-Missile (NASAMS) air defense systems or mounted on F-16 fighter aircraft. The cost of a single missile varies from $1.2 million to $2 million, depending on the modification.
West's Ukraine line changes as funds dry out and Russian advance goes full throttle

Washington has pledged to send eight NASAMS to Kiev, with the first two expected to be delivered soon and the others over a longer period of time.
Since 2022, the UK has donated AMRAAM missiles for the NASAMS system along with short-range ASRAAM missiles for mobile ground launchers and Starstreak man-portable SAMs for the Stormer self-propelled air defense system.
The new Labour Party government of Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer pledged more AS90 155mm howitzers – which may not be in working order – and reportedly wants to allow Kiev to use British Storm Shadow cruise missiles to strike deep inside Russia.
This week, Ukraine’s Western sponsors met at the NATO headquarters in Brussels to pledge further military support for Ukraine. Kiev is running critically short of air defense systems, but NATO members also need to replenish their own depleted stores.
Russia has repeatedly warned of the consequences of pumping Ukraine with weapons, including long-range missiles, enabling it to attack Russia. That scenario risks turning the Russia-NATO proxy conflict into a hot war.

biden's fools....
Friends, countrymen, lend me your ears…
I cannot say how close we are to midnight on the nuclear war watch. But a Third World War fought at least initially with conventional weapons is now just days, at most weeks away.
I look at what my peers are saying on the most watched youtube channels, and they seem conforted that the Ukraine war is unsustainable for Zelensky’s army given the ongoing massacre of the forces they deployed in their Kursk gambit, today said to be over 10,000 men dead or grievously wounded. Meanwhile the Russian offensive in Donbass is reported both by Russians and by Western media to be accelerating, with more towns being captured each day and the number of square kilometers of Ukrainian territory ‘liberated’ there in the past month already roughly matching the 1,000 that Ukrainian elite forces captured in Russia’s Kursk oblast over the same period. Of course, these two conquests are incomparable: the Ukrainians have a tenuous hold on land they cannot fortify so as to keep given that their supply lines from the border are under constant deadly attack from the air and from Russian artillery, whereas the Russian advance along the Donbass battle lines is pulverizing long standing Ukrainian fortified positions and is about to totally disrupt the logistics that permit the Ukrainian forces to stay in the Donbass.
These same peers have highlighted the destruction of Ukraine’s best present and future cadres in electronic warfare by Russia’s missile strike this past week on the military communications institute in Poltava which is today said to have killed 700 Ukrainian and NATO personnel.
However, this seeming turning point in Russia’s favor is, as we speak, setting the stage for one further absolutely desperate and reckless act by the Biden administration to deprive Russia of its well earned victory by escalating the conflict to a world war.
What I have in mind is the near certainty that the United States and Britain have just agreed to give the Zelensky regime permission to use the long-range missiles which have been delivered to Ukraine, certainly including Storm Shadow and likely also the 1500 km range stealth missile known as JASSM to strike deep into the Russian heartland, and so ‘to bring the war to Russia’ as the Zelensky gang put it.
That is the sense of the trip this week by Secretary of State Blinken to Kiev and of the visit to the White House on Friday by British Prime Minister Starmer.
Collective Biden is doing this in the full knowledge that the Russians have issued direct threats of attack on the United States and other countries involved in strikes on its heartland using such Western supplied and directed weapons. However patient and averse to a hot war with NATO President Putin may be, he will have no choice but to rise to the challenge.
Meanwhile, peers who know a great deal about current affairs in the Middle East, in particular former British diplomat Alastair Crooke , have in their latest interviews on youtube said flatly that the United States has given Israel the go-ahead to launch a full-blown war on Lebanon. The nod from Washington was expressed by the reminder to Netanyahu that the aircraft carriers and other U.S. vessels now stationed in the Eastern Mediterranean cannot remain there indefinitely, so if he has something to do, he should proceed without delay.
Hence the Israeli prime minister’s public directive to the IDF a day ago to move on Lebanon. Should this happen, the tinderbox that is the Middle East today may well catch fire. The interested parties in countering the atrocities that Israel has been committing in Gaza and most recently also in the West Bank now take in even very moderate and restrained Jordan, as well as Turkey and Egypt. Of course; it will be very difficult for Iran to stay out of the conflict, which in one way or another will also bring in Iran’s newly declared strategic partner or ally, Russia.
In this way a presently localized conflict in the Middle East can in a flash become a regional war that in a further flash becomes a second front to the war between the United States and Russia which I foretold above when speaking about Ukraine.
These considerations of what may well happen in the immediate days ahead cannot bring joy to anyone. There will be no победа (victory) or слава (glory) for any of the parties to the coming conflagration. Only massive destruction and loss of life.
*Collective Biden is the term which Russian talk show hosts have applied to the US leadership given that the presidency assumed a collective form when the physical Joe Biden slipped into deep senility this past couple of years.
