In Washington, DC, the NGO Doctors Against Genocide held a conference to continue publicizing the voices of health care professionals against the genocide they have witnessed in Gaza.

Forced famine, bombed hospitals, untreated disease, medicine shortages, garbage which hasn’t been collected for a year, mass homelessness, deprivation, grief, indescribable and ceaseless psychological trauma.

The realities and statistics are shocking, but they’re not as shocking as the personal stories.

Actually, today, I spoke with a friend that I made there, and she’s finally pregnant after trying for four years, finally got pregnant, and today was texting me that she just wishes death upon herself.

This is supposed to be the happiest time of her life, and she wants to die because it’s so bad.

She said they’ve reached the point of famine. She was like, … we’ve not gotten food for 10 days. We are eating molded bread with bugs all over it, and she said there’s some canned food that’s disgusting, but they’re eating it because they have no other option.

But, like I said, she’s pregnant, this should be the happiest moment of her life, and she’s wishing death upon herself at this point.

These returning doctors and nurses said the barbaric cruelty which Israel is inflicting on Gazans compelled them to speak out.

Their testimonies make it crystal clear that Israel is sadistically torturing Gazans, and that if the West applied pressure on Tel Aviv, the horrors could stop immediately.

I’ve been in Aleppo, I’ve been in Haiti, I’ve been in a whole bunch of places where you couldn’t get aid.

This is the first time the aid is there and not accessible. So that could solve the nutrition problem in six months, if we just open the gate, it’s right there. It’s right there. I could throw a rock and hit it. You see thousands of trucks as you’re coming in.

So the aid is available in the region, it is just not accessible because the IOF is in control of the borders from north to south. So the aid is being hindered in any quantity at all.

Western leaders routinely deny the official tally of nearly 45,000 Gazans killed and over 100,000 injured. But scientists know this number is a drastic undercount.

The top medical journal, The Lancet, recently estimated that the actual death toll is about five times the official number.

War has health implications beyond just direct harm, and in Gaza, the death toll is expected to be much higher than in a normal conflict due to the widespread destruction of its infrastructure and the shortages and pursuant famine caused by Israel.

Even if the war ended today, past bereavements will continue to impact individuals until at least 2070, researchers estimate, but the trauma caused by even a normal war exists in a community’s collective consciousness for generations.

Israel admitted to purposefully targeting vulnerable populations even with chemical or depleted uranium in coordination with social media psyop/chaos theory campaigns

Israel’s army illegally targeted the country’s population with a social media psychological operation to convince citizens that its airstrikes were “taking a toll” on Gaza during the 2021 ‘Guardian of the Walls’ military operation, a Haaretz investigation published on Wednesday has revealed. 

Several days into the 2021 military operation, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Spokesperson’s Unit used dozens of fake Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts to post videos and images of Israeli airstrikes on Gaza using the hashtag #GazaRegrets. The unit even worked with popular Israeli influencers in order to conceal the military origin of the astroturfing campaign.

 

The social media ‘psyop’ went live several days into the 2021 military operation, when the IDF became concerned Israelis were more impressed by viral footage of Hamas rockets hitting Israel than the actions of their own military, according to Haaretz.

The IDF admitted to the outlet that it had worked with influencers to spread footage of its airstrikes on Gaza and even acknowledged setting up “a limited number of fake accounts” for that purpose, “in order to maximize audience reach” – though the content received hardly any likes or reposts.

 Israeli minister claims there’s ‘no such thing’ as Palestinians

However, it dismissed the astroturf campaign as a brief, anomalous “error,” insisting the bots had been operational for just 24 hours, with no similar episodes in the last two years.

Israel’s military intelligence division is notorious for using similar manipulation tactics to sway popular opinion in foreign countries. However, it is legally prohibited from targeting the domestic population with psychological warfare, and so strict is this prohibition that the IDF was forbidden from deploying its tools domestically even at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, when some in the government wanted them for contact tracing. 

IDF Spokesperson’s Unit chief Hidai Zilberman has insisted the division’s role is “to report nothing but the truth to the public” and that it would never stoop to psychological warfare ever since he was caught during the 2021 Gaza operation spreading deliberately fake news through the foreign press. 

However, Haaretz recently discovered that not only does the unit regularly collaborate with local influencers to nudge Israeli public opinion, it was even referring journalists to a Telegram channel run by a creator the IDF had contracted as a consultant for “psychological warfare.” 

Confronted with the totality of their investigation, a senior defense official described the situation to Haaretz as “scandalous … something like that shouldn’t have happened.”

• Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir took part in a two-day meeting on Israel’s southern border entitled "Preparing for our resettlement in Gaza" on the occasion of the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. He said: "What we have learned this year is that everything depends on us. We are the owners of this land. Yes, we have experienced a terrible catastrophe. But we must understand that a year later, so many Israelis have changed their mentality. They have changed their mindset. They understand that acting as the rightful owners of this land brings results.

Referring to the Palestinian prisoners, he went on: "We took their jelly sandwiches. We took their chocolate. We took their televisions. We took their ping-pong tables and practice time. You should see them crying and weeping in their cells. This is our proof: when we decide we can, we do succeed."

"We will encourage the voluntary transfer of all citizens of Gaza. We will offer them the opportunity to move to other countries because this land belongs to us," he concluded.

• Spokesperson for the "Mothers’ Parade" Sima Hasson said "I’m going to say something that not everyone here is ready to say, but I am, and I know many of you are, ready to say it: "Conquer, expel and resettle". I’m not just talking about an area of Gaza. I’m not just talking about northern Gaza. I mean every area of land. This is the only way to prevent our boys from constantly going to war. To all those in Europe who have an opinion about what is going on here, I say: do not meddle. Your entire continent is invaded by radical Islam!"

• Pasionaria of the settler movement Daniella Weiss said: "We came here with a clear objective: to occupy the entire Gaza Strip... Every inch from north to south. We are thousands of people and we are ready to go to Gaza. October 7 changed history. As a result of the brutal massacre, the Arabs of Gaza have lost their rights to be here forever, they will not stay here.

• Minister of the Negev, Galilee and National Resilience Yitzhak Wasserlauf said: "For 2,000 years, we dreamed of returning to our Jewish homeland. I know that those who disagree with us call it messianism. I call it Zionism. We are true Zionists. We love our land, we love our people, and we value life. And we have a responsibility to create a safe, Jewish nation on the land God has given us.

• Minister of Social Equality and the Advancement of Women May Golan said: "We will hit them where it hurts: their land. Whoever uses his plot of land to plan another holocaust will receive from us, with God’s help, another Nakba [catastrophe]."

 

In February 2024, the settler movement had already organized a "Conference for Israel’s victory - settlements bring security: return to the Gaza Strip and northern Samaria" in Jerusalem in which they threatened the United States and the United Kingdom with resurrecting the Stern terrorist group [1].
