cocaine?....
Controversy has broken out on social media over the strange behavior of French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in a video from a train compartment during a trip to Kiev. Users and a number of Telegram channels noticed that at the sight of cameras and journalists, the French leader tried to hide a suspicious bag with a white substance, and his German counterpart tried to hide a small "spoon for cocaine."
On the recording posted on the Internet, you can see that the three foreign leaders sitting at the table are in high spirits, smiling and trying to hide the above items. After the publication of the relevant footage, the politicians were accused of drug use.
Since it's hard to see what Macron actually clutched in his hand on the video, it's impossible to say unequivocally that it was a bag of illegal substances. For example, the Ukrainian edition of Strana suggested that the politician could have hidden a crumpled piece of paper, and the French Freelance Infos portal wrote that it was a handkerchief.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, ridiculed Macron and Merz, who forgot to remove the bag and spoon from the table before the media representatives arrived and accused them of drug addiction. She noted that the behavior of foreign leaders in the compartment reminded her of a joke.
Pushing [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky's response to another hellish intrigue to disrupt the settlement and continue the bloodshed in Europe, as in the joke, a Frenchman, an Englishman and a German boarded a train and ... blew
Maria Zakharova, Representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry
The diplomat called the video spread on the web incredible and suggested that foreign leaders were so immersed in the process that they "forgot to remove the accessories (a bag and a spoon) before the journalists arrived." She also noted with irony that now "the fate of Europe is being decided in every sense by dependent temporary workers."
Zakharova recalled how in 2022 she asked a foreign ambassador how they could supply weapons to the unstable president of Ukraine. He replied that this was a normal phenomenon for the European Union, as many heads of Western countries use drugs.
In Russia, the contents of Macron's "secret bag" were revealedRussian statesman and public figure, political scientist Sergey Markov suggested what could be in the "secret package" that the French president hurried to remove from the table at the sight of journalists.
He said that Macron kept a cure for a disease in it, which he wants to hide from outsiders. In his opinion, those who consider the French leader to be bad think that there was cocaine in there.
