Abstract- If the Soviet Union was the “Evil Empire” of the 1980s, it seems in the modern era the roles have switched and now the US/West is the Evil Empire, seeking to impose itself and stamp out foreign cultures and subjugate entire countries.

The end of the Cold War afforded the United States the unprecedented opportunity to set itself up as a shining city on the hill, an example of peace, prosperity, and justice, for the entire world to see. The supposed “evil empire” of the Soviet Union was gone, and there was a unipolar reality in the 1990s and into the early 2000s.

 

What did the United States do with this golden opportunity to show the world what it was made of?

The United States intervened in numerous and diverse regions to dismantle nations, plunge entire societies into chaos, redraw the maps of many nations, while foolishly extending guarantees to other nations and insisting that certain borders could never be redrawn or revisited, channeling the energy of the pre-WW1 and pre-WW2 British Empire in regards to handing out territorial guarantees the way a shopping mall Santa Claus hands out candy-canes or sweets to any child who comes to the mall during Christmas season.

Since 1990 the United States has left a trail of corpses and broken nations in its wake. Iraq, Bosnia, Serbia, Somalia, Yemen, Afghanistan, (Iraq again), Syria, Libya, the list goes on. In short, the United States accused the Soviet Union of being the “Evil Empire” which for a time it might have been, but then the United States went on to demonstrate for the entire world, at least those who are intellectually honesty and not morally bankrupt, that the United States is indeed an evil empire, just not of the overt sort in the traditional imperialist model of the British in the 1920s or in the model of outright military occupation and puppet regimes the Warsaw Pact in the 1960s to 1980s.

While the United States was running roughshod over countless developing nations or second-rate powers who lacked integrated air defenses and modern air forces (the favorite targets for direct intervention by American conventional forces), the collective West was opening its borders to take in millions of refugees who were to be given preferential treatment above their own native populations, in a truly ironic twist of fate.

The people that the USA would gleefully bomb and kill in the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia, were to be welcomed with open arms by the technocratic tyrannies that are ubiquitous across the European Union, regardless of whether the native citizens of the respective EU nations actually wanted those open-borders policies and admission of massive numbers of refugees and asylum seekers.

 

How Modern Western Fake Democracy Functions

The cornerstone of modern Western sham democracy is that experts (educated in one of perhaps five universities) make the decisions and everybody else works and obeys. If you graduated from Sciences Po and then went on to ENA, you get a chance to be a top-level administrator in Paris or Brussels who gets a vacation chalet in Switzerland, a house in Neuilly-sur-Seine, and an apartment in Monaco; if you graduated school at 18 and went to work for a living you get a guarantee to work and obey. Understanding this is crucial to understanding how modern Western sham democracy functions. It doesn’t matter what the population of France, Germany, Belgium, or Spain or any EU nation wants, what matters is what a few dozen people in Brussels who attend annual WEF meetings want and decide upon.

Brussels has found no shortage of aspiring traitors across Europe who are willing to sell their countries out for EU citizenship and a posh apartment in Monaco 

The ruling elite in Brussels might make a policy decision, “the United States will be bombing and occupying Iraq, we will open the borders to Iraqi refugees and assure that millions of people can enter the EU, regardless of their cultural compatibility or how they feel about the West, and without consulting the respective voters in the respective EU member states, because their consent is not relevant to us, just as Iraqi consent for America to enter its territory was not relevant to the USA.”

It is important to understand and keep in mind that the same technocrats in Brussels who enforce tyrannical restrictions on speech, expression, assembly, and demonstration, are the ones who vehemently denounce Belarus and Russia as “authoritarian sham democracies” without addressing one key distinction which is that Mr. Lukashenko and Mr. Putin are actually popular and legitimate leaders in their respective nations, and both are working for the benefit of their nations and their national populations, as opposed to owing allegiance to a supra-national body of unaccountable elites.

Brussels has found no shortage of aspiring traitors across Europe who are willing to sell their countries out for EU citizenship and a posh apartment in Monaco. Many were previously active in Georgia, some are presently active in Ukraine and Serbia, and there were some in Minsk who have since skipped town and established their base of operations abroad.

For example, Brussels will insist that Mrs. Tsikhanouskaya, self-proclaimed ruler of Belarus, who set up shop in Lithuania, is the leader of the government of Belarus, but she’s no more a legitimate authority for Belarus than Quisling was in occupied Norway, the difference today is that Belarus is still run by Belarusians for the benefit of Belarusians and the legitimate government under Mr. Lukashenko remains in power, despite EU attempts to instigate a color-revolution and a 2014-Kiev style coup.

True patriots who serve their nation don’t march with signs in a foreign (English) language, they only do so if they are organized by outsider forces and are being used to send signals to American and British audiences. Tsikhanouskaya is yet one more example of a traitor who is willing to open the gates to the enemy so long as the enemy occupier will let her manage the city after they seize control. Tsikhanouskaya hates Belarus so much, and wants power so badly, she is willing to be complicit in wrecking Belarus with a woke Western rainbow ideology just as long as she can be in charge of managing the ruins. This is the equivalent of a passenger who will sink a ship just as long as he can be in charge while it sinks.

There is scarcely a government in power anywhere in the EU today that obtained more than 30% of the vote, they are all weak coalition governments cobbled together by elites forming coalitions of woke idealogues and national sell-outs who want to dismantle their nations for the benefit of Brussels. When an actual legitimate government is on the cusp of coming to power, as in Romania, elections are canceled and candidates are banned. The sham democracies of Europe use criminal prosecutions to disqualify key opposition leaders (Le Pen in France) as well as investigations into the “alleged unconstitutional stances of the senior party leadership” (AfD being investigated in Germany), or they simply disqualify candidates over vague rumors of “Russian interference” as in Romania, or they indict and force candidates to flee politically motivated prosecution as with Moldova. “Somebody who might have been linked to Russia paid ten thousand dollars to run ads on Facebook ahead of the election, our democracy has been interfered with! It was so fragile it could not withstand ten thousand dollars in advertisements, the election must be canceled and the opposition must be banned!”

As a collective entity, the West has proclaimed itself to be the pinnacle of human progress and achievement, essentially ushering in “the end of history” with the ascension of Western Liberal (sham) Democracy as the end-all be-all of human, social, economic, and political attainment. During this same period of time, entire nations have been ground into dust, from Libya being obliterated and turned into a fractured series of warlord states and jihadi controlled territories that have revived the slave trade, to Syria being handed over to an Al-Qaeda* linked slave-trafficking bandit who traded his balaclava and camouflage uniform for a clean crisp Western suit and thereby gained respectability in the Western press.

The West has proclaimed itself the garden, with the rest of the world being a jungle (to paraphrase the self-styled civilization expert Josep Borrell), meanwhile the West never examines its own role in leveling nations in the supposed “jungle” that exists outside of Western Europe. It is essentially a situation of a man setting fire to his neighbor’s farm and then condemning his neighbor as “uncivilized” for living in a burnt-out ruin of a farmhouse.

 

The modern evil empire is the one who has torn a path of destruction across the world during the last three to four decades. It is not Russia.
