OUR DEMOCRACIES rely on voters. Voters have to make choices as to who or what ideas are going to represent these choices. Choices are made on various influences:

— what’s best for me?

— what’s best for the “community”

— I trust an ideology

— Party politics

— PROPAGANDA

PROPAGANDA is a funny beast as it can be the truth being spruiked or lies being promoted as truth.

How do we find out we are not lied to?

Being an old dog — a political cartoonist since 1951 — Gus hopes that he gets it right at most times. Experience tells you that roses have thorns and cupboards may have skeletons in them…

Nature can tell us a lot about deception and traps or webs of deceit, in order to assure survival of a species — or the extend of territory. 

One of our present main choice is Ukraine… The media and the establishment has been “STANDING WITH UKRAINE” against the evil Putin. Many good honest people trust that this is the way to be.

I don’t. But I’m not dishonest nor “not good”… I know that since my first cartoon against the military and the police in 1951, we are made to be gymnasts, I mean trained monkeys, in a world championship of deceit.

The most obvious was in 2001, when the TWIN TOWERS fell and Bushit, the minus of history, told us that he knew Saddam did it… Then, he went on bombing the shit out of Afghanistan as a horror d’oeuvre to prepare the main course and go to war against Iraq, under the pretext of “Saddam has weapons of mass destruction”.

All of this was BULLSHIT that was swallowed by 99.9 per cent of the Western media and 99 per cent of the Western population because of the media — which was being fed by the CIA.

We fought against this blatant DISINFORMATION. We are still fighting it, but this time is have been subtly manipulated… Not so subtly really…

Before 2021, UKRAINE was a bastard case of corruption and a country crawling with NAZIS… The main stream media was not short of articles on this exposure. Even the Soros “Organisation for Truth” was pushing the lines.  The stint was devious though… It was designed to help us absolve the AMERICAN intervention in the Ukrainian government as a GOOD thing, and blame Russia for the way UKRAINE was such a bastard case. Suddenly, the NAZIS were repainted as freedom fighters… And don’t we love FREEDOM !!!. And DEMOCRACY !!!, "which the Russians prevented in Ukraine". This is why Ukraine needs NATO to defend against the evil Russians.

Meanwhile, our media was erasing tons of history, faster than Zelensky could burn 120 million RUSSIAN books, including Pushkin’s — and destroy the Christian Orthodox Church under MI6's instruction. Part of this history being taken out was that Ukraine is not a unified country… It has Galicians (Facist tendencies), Romanians, Poles and 35 per cent RUSSIANS — which the West was trying to eliminate out of Ukraine by whatever means because we hate Russia since 1917 for having been communist.

We hated Russia before, since Napoleon, but this is beside the modern point. 

In 2021, The REASONABLE Russians made an offer of peace to the West. The West, like a mad dog clinching a bone between its canine teeth (that where the word comes from) saw that it could bite the bear to death by using Ukraine as a proxy. Our chance to destroy Russia had COME….

The BEAR has proven more powerful than a MAD DOG and its lackeys…

This is WHY Trump wants peace ASAP… Not because people get killed (he’s killing his own declared enemies, including fishermen) but he DOES NOT WANT A RUSSIAN VICTORY… which is on the card before XMAS… So while we do a lot of SABRE-RATTLING, the Russians bomb the shit out of the Ukrainian army which loses more than 1,100 soldiers A DAY (NEARLY 400,000 A YEAR at this rate). 

And despite what we, in the WEST, think, PUTIN CARES… He hates war far more than AMERICA LOVES IT…

Our Western INVERSION OF hysterical HISTORY is perverse: the left would LOVE the war to continue because we’re losing OUR DEMOCRAPCY in YUCKRAINE and we want a win — and the right wants the WAR TO STOP BECAUSE WE’RE LOSING. 

FOR TRUMP, the best way to destroy Russia is to MAKE FRIEND while robbing it…
