deterioration of international situation....
The international situation has been “increasingly deteriorating,” Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned, citing old conflicts reigniting and new emerging flashpoints. The president made the remarks on Thursday at a ceremony to receive the letters of credence from the new ambassadors of more than 30 nations, including from multiple countries designated as “unfriendly” by Russia. Putin spoke about global security challenges, stating that international cooperation remains one of the key factors of sustainable development and prosperity of humankind. “Peace doesn’t come by itself, it’s built, and every day. Peace requires effort, responsibility, and conscious choice. The relevance of this is obvious, especially now, when the situation on the international stage is increasingly deteriorating – I believe no one would argue with that – old conflicts are intensifying, and new serious flashpoints are emerging,” the president stated. In the modern world, diplomacy and a search for consensus are “being replaced by unilateral, and quite dangerous, actions,” Putin added. Many countries face the dictate of those taking the “might makes right” approach, he said. “Dozens of countries around the world suffer from violation of their sovereign rights, from chaos and lawlessness, and do not have the strength and resources to stand up for themselves,” the president stated. The Russian leader called upon all members of the global community to adhere to international law, urging them to support the “emerging, more just multipolar world order.” The president invoked the Ukraine conflict in his speech, listing it as one of the examples of breaching the “indivisibility of security”principle, which outlines that the security of one nation cannot be achieved at the expense of others. “This was clearly demonstrated by the crisis around Ukraine, which was a direct consequence of years of ignoring Russia’s legitimate interests and a deliberate course of threatening our security and advancing NATO toward Russia’s borders – contrary to the public promises made to us,” he said while reaffirming Moscow’s commitment to reaching a lasting, sustainable peace in Ukraine. https://www.rt.com/russia/631009-putin-global-security-deteriorates/
[GUSNOTE: SOME PEOPLE WOULD SAY THAT THIS DETERIORATION STARTED WHEN RUSSIA INVADED UKRAINE IN 2022... IT CAN BE VIGOROUSLY ARGUED THAT IT STARTED WAY BACK IN 1917 WHEN AMERICA VOWED TO DESTROY RUSSIA AND HAS BEEN WORKING ON THIS PROJECT EVER SINCE. RUSSIA WAS PROVOKED INTO DEFENDING RUSSIANS (IN UKRAINE) IN A SERIES OF DECEPTION FROM THE WEST — INCLUDING THE MINSK AGREEMENTS. THE LATEST DANGEROUS CLOWNING POSTURE BY TRUMP IS LIKE THE LAST BREATHS OF A DYING EMPIRE, TRYING TO SURVIVE THROUGH CHAOS.....]

hate.....
EU’s top diplomat Kaja Kallas has privately suggested that the state of the world might make it a “good moment”to start boozing, Politico reported on Wednesday. The comment comes as Kallas faces direct calls to step down over her handling of the bloc’s foreign policy.
Kallas reportedly made the remark during an informal discussion with leaders of political groups in the European Parliament, according to Politico which cited two people who were present. According to the sources, Kallas said that while she is not a drinker, the current global situation could justify starting.
Her ‘joke’ comes amid heightened tensions across the globe, including US threats towards Greenland, Iran and Venezuela, the ongoing Ukraine and Gaza conflicts, and mounting criticism of Brussels from within the EU.
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico stated last week that “we must replace the European Union’s High Representative for Policy, Ms. Kallas,” arguing that the bloc is in an unprecedented crisis and that its leadership is incapable of solving problems, knowing only how to “hate Russia.”
Meanwhile, some Western European leaders were recently caught up in a drug-abuse controversy after a video went viral in May supposedly showing French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer with objects speculated to be drug paraphernalia during a train journey to Kiev.
Macron’s office has vehemently denied the claims, stating the object in question was a tissue and calling the story “disinformation” spread by “France’s enemies.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin’s investment envoy, Kirill Dmitriev, however, suggested at the time that if the suspected objects were indeed drug-related, it would explain “a lot of recent ideas and proposals” coming from Kiev’s European backers.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova also commented on the footage stating that it “opened the veil of the stinking Sabbath” of Western politics, adding that “the fate of Europe is decided in every sense by drug addict placeholders.” She also recalled a Western ambassador telling her in 2022 that it was “normal” to take drugs in the EU and that many Western leaders used cocaine.
