US President Doanld Trump has proclaimed the “death of Iran,” adding that now, “the greatest enemy America has is the Radical Left, Highly Incompetent, Democrat Party!” Meanwhile, Iranian missiles continue to rock Israel.

Strikes on the cities of Dimona and Arad in Southern Israel have left 36 people hospitalized, including 19 children. Visiting one of the sites, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said it was a “miracle” that no one was killed and urged residents to shelter when they hear a warning siren.

At least 1,444 people have been killed and 18,551 injured by US-Israeli attacks on Iran since February 28, Iran’s Health Ministry has said. Retaliatory strikes have claimed 18 lives in the Jewish State and 13 at US bases in the region.

Here are the latest developments:

  • US President Donald Trump has threatened to strike power plants in Iran unless the Strait of Hormuz is reopened within 48 hours.
  • Iran has kept the crucial waterway largely closed to vessels linked to the US and Israel since the outbreak of the war on February 28. The Hormuz disruption – affecting a route carrying roughly one-fifth of global oil supplies – has already pushed crude prices higher and heightened concerns over a prolonged global supply shock.
  • The IRGC has released a statement, saying that should the power plants be targeted, the Strait of Hormuz will be “completely” closed and won’t be reopened until the facilities are rebuilt.
  • Saudi Arabia has declared several Iranian embassy staff, including the military attaché, as persona non grata, ordering them to leave the country within 24 hours due to Tehran’s ongoing attacks on the Gulf region.

Bahrain has brought in anti-riot troops from Jordan as protests erupt across the country over its role in the expanding U.S. military campaign against Iran.

The deployment marks the first time since the Arab Spring that Bahrain has called in foreign forces to help contain domestic unrest. Authorities are reportedly concerned about demonstrations emerging from the country’s Shia-majority population, Capital & Empire reported (https://capitalandempire.com/p/bahrain-imports-anti-riot-troops), citing sources.

Bahrain hosts the United States Navy Fifth Fleet, making the island kingdom a key location for U.S. military operations in the Middle East. Protests have been directed both at Bahrain’s ruling authorities and at Washington’s presence in the country.

The demonstrations intensified following the reported assassination of Ali Khamenei, a prominent Iranian Shia religious leader. Bahraini security forces have responded with force, including firing tear gas directly into crowds. One U.S. official said the protests show how “deeply unpopular” the U.S.-backed regional order is in Bahrain and across the broader Muslim world.

Bahrain previously relied on foreign intervention to contain unrest during the 2011 protests. At that time, troops from Gulf states including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates entered Bahrain under the Saudi-led Peninsula Shield force, a regional security mechanism that later evolved into the Unified Military Command.

The unrest comes as Iran continues targeting locations linked to U.S. military activity in the region. Bahrain has reported multiple strikes on its territory since hostilities escalated.
