the nazi king of england in a dress rehearsal against russia....
The United Kingdom's new prime minister, Andy Burnham, is visiting Ukraine on Monday, on his first international trip since taking office. Burnham, who will co-chair a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing, a group of Ukraine's foreign backers, is also set to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv.
Ukraine news: UK PM Burnham to visit Kyiv in show of support Several other world leaders, including co-chairs German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and French President Emmanuel Macron, as well as European Council President Antonio Costa and leaders from the Nordic and Baltic countries, will take part in the meeting, some of them in person and others remotely via video conference. The meeting comes as Ukraine marks the 35th anniversary of its independence from the Soviet Union (USSR). During his visit, Burnham will confirm that the UK has agreed to allow European weapons manufacturer MBDA to release classified information on British parts of the SCALP long-range missile to set up assembly lines in Ukraine, Downing Street said in a statement. "On Ukraine’s 35th anniversary of independence, the Ukrainian people should be in no doubt: the UK is behind you today and for as long as it takes," Burnham said in a statement. "Our support will not waver. After all, Ukraine’s security is our security," the British leader added.

ONE CAN ONLY DESPAIR AT THE MISINTERPRETATION OF HISTORY FROM YET ANOTHER PRIME MINISTER OF BRITAIN... YUKCRAINE LOSES AROUND 1,300 TROOPS A DAY AT THE FRONT... THE WESTERN MEDIA KEEPS FALSELY PAINTING A DESPERATE RUSSIAN ARMY AND A FEW BRITISH BOMBS THAT HIT RUSSIAN WAREHOUSES WITH HOPE OF FORCING RUSSIA INTO CAPITULATION OR AT LEAST GET A CEASEFIRE... THIS ISN'T GOING TO HAPPEN. RUSSIA IS NOT GOING TO ABANDON THE RUSSIANS IN THE DONBASS, NOR IN CRIMEA. PLACE THIS IN YOUR HEAD, MORONIC BRITS AND WESTERN IDIOTS. RUSSIA CAN ONLY INCREASE THE PAIN ON THE NAZI KIEV REGIME... GET THIS ALSO IN YOUR LIMITED MAD BRAINS... AND SURE YOU CAN STILL REGRET THAT CHURCHILL GOT BOOTED OUT OF THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT BEFORE HE COULD NUKE RUSSIA IN 1945, OR WHAT IT 1949... WHATEVER. OF COURSE YOU MAY STILL REGRET THAT RUSSIA WON WORLD WAR TWO... WHAT? YES... ACCODING TO WW2 WITH TOM HANKS, THE USA WON THE WAR... SURE, BUT IF YOU LOOK AT THE REAL FIGURES, RUSSIA DESTROYED MORE THAN 80 PER CENT OF THE GERMAN ARMY, ON THE EASTERN FRONT... AND BY THE WAY ONE NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND A FEW THINGS: BRITAIN BOMBED GERMAN CITIES BEFORE THE GERMAN BLITZ ON BRITAIN... WHAT? WAR CRIMES FROM LONDON? YES. AND BY 2023, THE AMERICANS ALL FORGOT ABOUT THE RUSSIAN SACRIFICES IN WW2... TO THE POINT THAT ON D-DAY CELEBRATION, LOYDD AUSTIN THE THIRD DID NOT MENTION THE RUSSIAN PARTICIPATION IN WW2... =======================

As they say, pushing his speech, Austin also touched on the situation around the Ukrainian crisis, mentioning the US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin during his speech dedicated to the anniversary of the landing of allied forces in Normandy on June 6, 1944 - an event included in history titled Operation Overlord, praised the role of all veterans who participated in World War II. But in his speech, the head of the Pentagon did not even mention the role of the USSR and the contribution of the Soviet people to the victory over Nazism. The reaction of the Kremlin was not long in coming: as Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, noted, the Russian people, unlike the American people, will continue to cover true historical events so that the younger generations in the country know, be proud of and honor the memory of the Great Patriotic War ( WWII), as well as about the feat of the Soviet people. At the same time, the deputy head of the Presidential Administration of Russia expressed regret that the Americans, apparently, do not know the history of the Second World War and the Second World War.

At no point since the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima on August 6th, 1945, has humanity been closer to the unthinkable. All the safeguards of the Cold War era, which categorized the nuclear bomb as “a weapon of last resort”, have been scrapped. Let us also recall the unspoken history of America’s doctrine pertaining to the conduct of nuclear war. Barely six weeks after the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the U.S. War Department released a Secret Plan on September 15, 1945 to bomb 66 cities of the Soviet Union with 204 atomic bombs. The September 15, 1945 Plan was to “Wipe the Soviet Union off the Map” at a time when the U.S. and the USSR were allies. Confirmed by declassified documents, Hiroshima and Nagasaki served as a “dress rehearsal” (see historical details and analysis below). The official narrative pertaining to nuclear war is that Nazi Germany was developing nuclear weapons. There is no firm evidence to that effect. Were the August 1945 Hiroshima and Nagasaki attacks used by the Pentagon to evaluate the viability of a much larger attack on the Soviet Union consisting of 204 atomic bombs? This is confirmed by official documents of the War Department: The key documents to bomb 66 cities of the Soviet Union (15 September 1945) were finalized 5-6 weeks after the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings (6, 9 August 1945): “On September 15, 1945–just under two weeks after the formal surrender of Japan and the end of World War II–Norstad sent a copy of the estimate to General Leslie Groves, still the head of the Manhattan Project, and the guy who, for the short term anyway, would be in charge of producing whatever bombs the USAAF might want.As you might guess, the classification on this document was high: “TOP SECRET LIMITED,” which was about as high as it went during World War II. (Alex Wellerstein, The First Atomic Stockpile Requirements (September 1945)
The Kremlin was aware of the 1945 plan to bomb 66 Soviet cities. The documents confirm that the U.S. was involved in the “planning of genocide” against the Soviet Union. “Let’s cut to the chase. How many bombs did the USAAF request of the atomic general, when there were maybe one, maybe two bombs worth of fissile material on hand?At a minimum they wanted 123. Ideally, they’d like 466.”This is just a little over a month after the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Of course, in true bureaucratic fashion, they provided a handy-dandy chart (Alex Wellerstein, op. cit)Hiroshima and Nagasaki Was a Dress RehearsalThe Nuclear Arms RaceCentral to our understanding of the Cold War which started (officially) in 1947, Washington’s September 1945 Plan to bomb 66 cities into smithereens played a key role in triggering the nuclear arms race. The Soviet Union was threatened and developed its own atomic bomb in 1949 in response to 1942 Soviet intelligence reports on the Manhattan Project. While the Kremlin knew about these plans to “wipe out” the USSR, the broader public was not informed because the September 1945 documents were of course classified. They were declassified 30 years later in September 1975. Today, neither the September 1945 Plan to blow up the Soviet Union nor the underlying cause of the nuclear arms race are acknowledged. The Western media has largely focussed its attention on the Cold War U.S.-USSR confrontation. The plan to annihilate the Soviet Union dating back to World War II and the infamous Manhattan Project are not mentioned. Washington’s Cold War nuclear plans are invariably presented in response to so-called Soviet threats, when in fact it was the U.S. Plan released in September 1945 (formulated at an earlier period at the height of World War II) to wipe out the Soviet which motivated Moscow to develop its nuclear weapons capabilities. The assessment of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists mistakenly blamed and continue to blame the Soviet Union for having launched the nuclear arms race in 1949, four years after the release of the September 1945 U.S. Secret Plan to target 66 major Soviet cities with 204 nuclear bombs: “1949: The Soviet Union denies it, but in the fall, President Harry Truman tells the American public that the Soviets tested their first nuclear device, officially starting the arms race. “We do not advise Americans that doomsday is near and that they can expect atomic bombs to start falling on their heads a month or year from now,” the Bulletin explains. “But we think they have reason to be deeply alarmed and to be prepared for grave decisions.” (Timeline of the Doomsday Clock, Bulletin of Atomic Scientists, 2017)Had the U.S. decided not to develop nuclear weapons for use against the Soviet Union, the nuclear arms race would not have taken placeNeither the Soviet Union nor the People’s Republic of China would have developed nuclear capabilities as a means of “deterrence” against the U.S. if the U.S. War Department had not formulated plans to annihilate the Soviet Union as outlined in the Secret War Plan. The Soviet Union lost 26 million people during World War II. The Cold War EraThe Nuclear Arms Race was the direct result of America’s September 1945 Plan to “blow up the Soviet Union,” formulated by the U.S. War Department. The Soviet Union tested its first nuclear bomb in 1949. Without the Manhattan Project and the War Department’s September 15, 1945 “World War III Blueprint”, the arms race would not have occurred. The September 15, 1945 War Department set the stage for numerous plans to wage World War III against Russia and China. The Cold War List of 1,200 Targeted CitiesThis initial 1945 list of 66 cities was updated in the course of the Cold War (1956) to include some 1,200 cities in the USSR and the Soviet block countries of Eastern Europe (see declassified documents below). The bombs slated for use were more powerful in terms of explosive capacity than those dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.U.S. Cold War Nuclear Target Lists Declassified for First TimeAccording to 1956 Plan, H-Bombs were to be Used Against Priority “Air Power” Targets in the Soviet Union, China, and Eastern EuropeMajor Cities in Soviet Bloc, Including East Berlin, Were High Priorities in “Systematic Destruction” for Atomic BombingsPlans to Target People (“Population”) Violated International Legal NormsSAC Wanted a 60 Megaton Bomb, Equivalent to over 4,000 Hiroshima Atomic WeaponsNational Security Archive Electronic Briefing Book No. 538Edited by William BurrPosted—December 22, 2015 National Security ArchiveWashington, D.C., December 22, 2015 — The SAC [Strategic Air Command] Atomic Weapons Requirements Study for 1959, produced in June 1956 and published today for the first time by the National Security Archive www.nsarchive.org, provides the most comprehensive and detailed list of nuclear targets and target systems that has ever been declassified. As far as can be told, no comparable document has ever been declassified for any period of Cold War history. The SAC study includes chilling details. According to its authors, their target priorities and nuclear bombing tactics would expose nearby civilians and “friendly forces and people” to high levels of deadly radioactive fallout. Moreover, the authors developed a plan for the “systematic destruction” of Soviet bloc urban-industrial targets that specifically and explicitly targeted “population” in all cities, including Beijing, Moscow, Leningrad, East Berlin, and Warsaw. Purposefully targeting civilian populations as such directly conflicted with the international norms of the day, which prohibited attacks on people per se (as opposed to military installations with civilians nearby). The National Security Archive, based at The George Washington University, obtained the study, totaling more than 800 pages, through the Mandatory Declassification Review (MDR) process (see sidebar). The SAC document includes lists of more than 1100 airfields in the Soviet bloc, with a priority number assigned to each base. With the Soviet bomber force as the highest priority for nuclear targeting (this was before the age of ICBMs), SAC assigned priority one and two to Bykhov and Orsha airfields, both located in Belorussia. At both bases, the Soviet Air Force deployed medium-range Badger (TU-16) bombers, which would have posed a threat to NATO allies and U.S. forces in Western Europe. A second list was of urban-industrial areas identified for “systematic destruction.” SAC listed over 1200 cities in the Soviet bloc, from East Germany to China, also with priorities established. Moscow and Leningrad were priority one and two respectively. Moscow included 179 Designated Ground Zeros (DGZs) while Leningrad had 145, including “population” targets. In both cities, SAC identified air power installations, such as Soviet Air Force command centers, which it would have devastated with thermonuclear weapons early in the war. According to the study, SAC would have targeted Air Power targets with bombs ranging from 1.7 to 9 megatons. Exploding them at ground level, as planned, would have produced significant fallout hazards to nearby civilians. SAC also wanted a 60 megaton weapon which it believed necessary for deterrence, but also because it would produce “significant results” in the event of a Soviet surprise attack.

"training of Ukrainians in Germany*"
Hundreds of Ukrainian military personnel have gone missing from training grounds across Germany since 2022, with more than 80 desertions recorded in the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt alone, according to an investigative report published by the German weekly newspaper Die Zeit on August 20. The report highlights a new growing challenge for Kyiv as it struggles to maintain manpower across the front lines amid steady advance by Russian forces. While early training cohorts consisted largely of highly motivated volunteers eager to master Western-supplied hardware like artillery and tanks, a tightening mobilization process has shifted the demographic of trainees. With voluntary enlistments declining, a growing number of reluctant or inexperienced conscripts are being sent abroad for instruction, leading some to use the opportunity to flee. According to Die Zeit, Germany’s Ministry of Defense acknowledged that individual Ukrainian soldiers have intermittently left their training units, though a comprehensive nationwide total is not centrally tracked. Local authorities, however, have documented significant figures at specific sites, such as the Altengrabow military training ground in Saxony-Anhalt. Under Ukrainian law, service members who abandon their posts or training units are classified as deserters and face up to 12 years in prison upon conviction. At the same time, these individuals occupy a difficult legal status in Germany. Unlike civilian refugees who fled the conflict and automatically qualify for temporary protection under Section 24 of Germany’s Residence Act, foreign military personnel officially dispatched by their government to train do not fall under those same provisions. Since February 2022, roughly 29,000 Ukrainian soldiers have completed various multi-week training programs across Germany. The reports of desertion coincide with a worsening recruitment and manpower crisis within Ukraine. As the conflict extends well into its fifth year, the armed forces have faced severe infantry shortages, leading to intense public and political debate over draft enforcement. While Kyiv has ramped up efforts to replenish frontline units through digital registries and expanded mobilization laws, widespread fatigue, extended periods of service without rotation, and instances of coercive recruitment methods have strained public morale. These domestic pressures have increasingly manifested abroad as a fraction of conscripted personnel sent to allied nations for Western military instruction opt to abandon their training rather than return to active combat. https://southfront.press/ukrainian-recruits-are-vanishing-from-german-training-camps/

PUTIN REMEMBERS AKHMAT Kadyrov: ‘His Words Proved Prophetic’ in 75th Birthday Tribute
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday paid tribute to Akhmat Kadyrov, the first president of Russia’s Chechen Republic, on what would have been Kadyrov’s 75th birthday, praising his role in restoring stability to the region and opposing extremist ideology. In a video address, Putin said Kadyrov believed Chechnya’s future was inseparable from Russia’s and recalled his efforts to end the conflict and rebuild the republic. Putin also referred to Kadyrov’s assassination on Victory Day in 2004, saying there could be “neither forgiveness nor oblivion” for the crime. He said Kadyrov would be proud of Chechnya’s development and praised his son and other supporters for continuing his work. Putin also highlighted Chechen fighters participating in Russia’s war against Ukraine, saying they were defending the sovereignty and interests of their shared homeland.

The UK will provide Ukraine with classified technical information needed to assemble long-range cruise missiles domestically.
Prime Minister Andy Burnham is set to announce the move during a visit to Kiev on Monday, his first international trip since taking office last month.
According to a Downing Street press release published on Sunday, the UK government has authorized European defense manufacturer MBDA to release classified information concerning UK-made components for SCALP, the French-produced version of Britain’s Storm Shadow. The air-launched missiles use shared French and British technology and have a range exceeding 250 km.
Kiev and Paris are seeking to establish local production lines on Ukrainian territory. Britain says its decision will allow “the French and Ukrainians to move forward with the Ukrainian assembly of the missile.”
“The Ukrainian people should be in no doubt: The UK is behind you today and for as long as it takes,” Burnham said, echoing the position of previous governments.
During his visit, Burnham is expected to meet with Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky and chair his first meeting of the ‘coalition of the willing’, which was established by Britain and France under his predecessor, Keir Starmer.
Moscow has maintained that the UK and other suppliers of weapons to Kiev are directly responsible for the deep-strike campaign, which it says has frequently hit civilians.
According to the Sunday Times, drones manufactured by BAE Systems and another unnamed British company have been used to hit targets in Russia over the past six months, including two oil refineries. The UAVs reportedly included the Nyan, a jet-powered drone produced by a BAE Systems subsidiary.
In a statement last week, the Russian Embassy in London called the UK “an accomplice and co-perpetrator of the bloody crimes and terrorist attacks” committed by Ukraine. It warned that “the deeper its involvement in the conflict and the greater its support for Kiev’s terrorist machinery, the higher the price it will pay.”
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has warned that London will face consequences if it continues supplying drones used by Ukraine for strikes deep inside Russia.
“We have every right to regard the proudly proclaimed direct involvement of British missile forces in strikes against Russia as participation in the war, with all the consequences that entails,” Lavrov said.

Stepan Bandera Is Haunting The Ukraine War And Polish Elections
History is not ancient for Ukrainians and Poles whose disagreements over national heroes and WWII is threatening to boil over in myriad ways
BY MOLLY O'NEAL
For the last several months, relations between Ukraine and Poland — one of Ukraine’s main supporters in its war with Russia — have been unusually strained.
The trigger for renewed mutual recriminations was the decision in June by Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky to name a Ukrainian military unit after the “Heroes of the UPA,” which was the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, the armed wing of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) during WWII.
Polish President Karol Nawrocki immediately reacted to this honoring of the OUN-UPA by revoking the Order of the White Eagle award — recognizing Polish-Ukrainian friendship — given to Zelensky by former President Andrej Duda in 2023.
Also this spring, Zelensky doubled down on Ukraine’s determination to honor WWII era nationalists by re-interring with military honors the repatriated remains of prominent OUN leader Andriy Melnyk. Zelensky announced plans to set up a pantheon in tribute to Ukraine’s national heroes. He said, “No one can tell us which heroes [Ukrainians] will honor.”
This controversy has implications for Polish support for Ukraine’s war effort. The populist-nationalist right opposition has, for example, challenged the decision by the centrist government to transfer a small number of Patriot interceptor missiles to Kyiv earlier this year, arguing that Poland’s own territorial defense should have priority.
The strain in Polish-Ukrainian relations will also feature in the effort of the Polish right as it seeks to defeat the centrist-left coalition in parliamentary elections to be held no later than October 2027 (they are not scheduled yet).
No doubt, Poland’s populist-nationalist right shares the widespread popular enmity toward Russia, but it prioritizes the country’s territorial defense over arming and sustaining Ukraine. From the standpoint of the right’s opposition to Prime Minister Tusk, the pursuit of historical justice for the Polish victims of the Volhynia massacres is necessary to reverse the alleged neglect of this tragedy by successive centrist governments. Those pragmatists stand accused of tactically forgetting the martyrdom of fellow Poles for the sake of a strategic alignment of Poland’s interests with those of Ukraine.
Wars over history: VolhyniaDuring WWII, the UPA fought the Soviet Army in the Galicia area of western Ukraine (then eastern Poland). Factions of the OUN-UPA also made early tactical accommodations with Nazi forces but the collaboration did not last. In 1943-45, UPA forces killed an estimated 100,000 Poles and members of other minorities in the Volhynia region, seeking to rid the area of Poles. In 2016, the Polish parliament designated the Volhynia massacre a genocide, declaring July 11 as an annual national observance of the events.
Ukraine contends that the OUN-UPA fought for the formation of an independent Ukraine, principally against the territorial ambitions of the USSR, but also of Poland and ultimately of Germany as well. They frame the Volhynia anti-Polish violence as “decolonization.”
UPA commander Stepan Bandera is anathemized in Israel, as well as in Poland and Russia, for mass killings of Jews in Kyiv and in eastern Poland/western Ukraine. Nevertheless, Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko declared him a national hero in 2010. A Ukrainian court annulled this designation in 2011, stating that hero status was reserved to citizens of the modern Ukrainian state. Bandera is still lionized by many Ukrainian right-wing nationalists.
In both Poland and Ukraine, state-supported Institutes of National Memory (IPNs) play a significant role in shaping public attitudes and have been led by nationalist populists. These institutes foster the uncritical assertion of national pride (“rising from one’s knees”) and refuse any acknowledgement of any blame under any circumstances. Nawrocki was president of the Polish Institute of National Memory from 2021 to 2025. A historian by training, he also led a revamping of the Gdansk WWII museum to emphasize exclusively Polish innocence and suffering.
Polish elections affectedThe salience of the Volnynia massacre is greatest in Poland among supporters of the formerly governing PiS (Law and Justice) party and the two other populist nationalist parties (Konfederacja and Konfederacja of the Polish Crown). Despite the recent breakaway of the more moderate wing of PiS, on current trends, the right still has reasonable chances of being able to form a governing coalition.
The voters on the Polish right are also reflecting an impatience with the estimated 1.6 million Ukrainians who have taken refuge in Poland, a view that will serve the parties who represent these voters.
Meanwhile, the OUN-UPA controversy has practical implications for Ukraine’s accession into the EU, including from Tusk’s pro-EU centrist government. Recently, deputy prime minister and defense minister Kosiniak-Kamysz reiterated Poland’s insistence that Ukraine can not enter the EU “under the banner of Bandera.”
The politics of history will continue to roil relations between Poland and Ukraine, even if a cool assessment of national interest in both countries suggests this should not be the case.
