I get many emails daily... Some of them are crap, obviously, but others, mostly from European correspondents are pushing various barrows... A couple of days I got one in regard to the danger of Aspartame (artificial sweetener) that claimed the dangers were crap and Aspartane is okay... There is reverse controversy in the sense that sugar kills far more people than Aspartane (not one case recorded)... And many studies have shown Aspartane to be reasonably benign... 

Thus one can believe anything on this subject unless one owns a lab and do independent testings with unwilling lab rats...

Meanwhile the controversy about climate change and global warming is being fuzzed by idiotic claims from denialists — that can be debunked with science, but these fibs still hold the high side of the road amongst shock jock spruikers... 

In regard to sweeteners, when one gets a controversial email panning aspartane from "Doktor Guessou" one can only ponder (Guess Who)...
