a brilliant cartoon by warren — except...

scomo...scomo...

Warren is a right-wing cartoonist working for the Murdoch media. He is sensitive enough to recognise the issue of the moment, but in his inimitable biased way he will "forget" the main character that has plagued the Aussie news recently... So in a moment of comic rectification Gus has added the missing personage who actually should figure far more prominently than the other politicians in Warren's cartoon of the Saturday Telegraph of the 6th of November 2021...

Yes, we know that Macron, Malcolm and Kevin have a bit of a ticket on themselves... But the bigger ego of all is that of ScoMo who lies, porkies and tells big fibs, like a seasoned piece of wood called Pinocchio.

Thanks to the police for finding little Cleo. All the newspapers, all the media, centrist-right and of the ultra-right (there is little-left wing media in this country) are full of pictures and editorials which will be plastered for another six months, until the sheep — the Australia pleboes, or Proles as Pru Goward calls you, us — have forgotten how rotten the wood of Pinocchio is, was and will be... And not a Jiminy cricket in sight...

FREE JULIAN ASSANGE NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE NAME THAT MATTERS MOST.

never told a porkie...

Facing multiple accusations of lying, Prime Minister Scott Morrison says he is not dishonest, and the criticism he has copped is simply part of the job.

Key points:
  • The Prime Minister has again rejected suggestions he lied to the French President
  • Scott Morrison was also recently accused of lying about his opposition to electric vehicles
  • Mr Morrison said the criticisms were part of the job

Earlier this month, French President Emmanuel Macron said Mr Morrison had lied to him over his plans to scrap a $90 billion French submarine contract and had broken the trust between the two countries.

Former prime minister Malcolm Turnbull, who appointed Mr Morrison as his treasurer, then accused Mr Morrison of being deceitful to him while he was in the top job, saying he had "a reputation for lying".

And following the government's recent policy U-turn on electric vehicles, Mr Morrison was also challenged for saying he never opposed electric vehicles at the 2019 election. At the time he said they would "end the weekend".

Mr Morrison was grilled on Melbourne local radio station 3AW over the recent accusations.

Neil Mitchell: "Have you ever told a lie in public life?"

Scott Morrison: "I don't believe I have no, no."

Neil Mitchell: "How does it feel when a former mate, Malcolm Turnbull, calls you a serial liar?"

Scott Morrison: "Look, I mean, it's politics. People take sledges at me all the time … I've learned in public life over a long period of time to not have a thin skin, to not get bitter."

Mr Morrison said public life required a thick skin, and politicians must be prepared to receive "slings and arrows" or get out of the job.

The Prime Minister also said he had not spoken to Mr Turnbull since he was accused of being a liar, and he did not want to.
