Howard says Iraqis need resolve, not retreat
The Prime Minister is using a speech in Canberra tonight to reiterate his reasons for keeping Australian troops in Iraq.
THE PRIME MINISITER IS FORGETTING THE PRIME REASON FOR INVADING IRAQ: OIL — TILL THE PIPELINES BURST FROM TOO MUCH PUMPING!
In an address to the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, John Howard has said he shares the distress of all Australians about the continued violence and suffering in Iraq.
WE ALL DO, SO LEAVE THEM ALONE... THE US BROUGHT THIS ON WITHOUT ANY VALID REASON!
He says it is in Australia's long-term national interest to show resolve and support the coalition's security operations there.
WE'VE GOT WHEAT TO SELL! FOR CLOWNER'S SAKE!@*&^%%$#@!@!!! WITHOUT BEING SHOT AT!
"What Iraq and her people now need is time, not a timetable," he said.
IS TWENTY FIVE YEARS ENOUGH? WHAT ABOUT FIFTEEN?? TWENT? SURE....
"They need our patience, not political positioning.
SURE WE GOOFED — DELIBERATELY SO TO BOOT — BUT WE WON'T ADMIT TO IT, WILL WE? WE'LL STUFF UP THE IRAQI SOME MORE AND TELL THEM IT'S FOR THEIR OWN GOOD! BENDOVER BROTHER...
"They require our resolve, not our retreat."
THEY NEED OUR STAYING THERE LIKE A HOLE IN THE HEAD!
Mr Howard attacked the Opposition's argument that the conflict in Iraq is a civil war that requires a political solution.
THE OPPOSITION'S PLAN MAKES COMMON SENSE SO IT'S TOTALLY ALIEN TO MR WAR HIMSELF, HOWARD-THE-LEADER-FROM-BEHIND!
He also said portraying Afghanistan as the good war and Iraq as the bad war is a position cloaked in folly.
THERE NO SUCH THINGY AS A *&%^$#@ GOOD WAR!!!
Mr Howard said what the Iraqi people need most is Australia's sticking power on the ground.
STICKING POWER LIKE FISH GLUE, HORSE'S GLUE AND CAMEL GLUE... WITH A BIT OF "NO MORE WARS FOR POWER"
"To state the obvious, I do not want our forces to be in Iraq one day longer than necessary," he said.
WHEN THE US TELLS US THE OIL HAS RUN OUT, WE'RE GONE! THE FIRST THING THAT MAKES SENSE...
"But I believe strongly that to signal our departure now would be against Australia's national interest."
AS I MENTIONED BEFORE WE'VE GOT WHEAT TO SELL TO THE IRAQI, WHETHER IT'S TO SADDAM OR WHOMEVER... SHOULD WE REMOVE OUR TROOPS THE US WOULD TELL THE IRAQI NOT TO BUY OUR WHEAT BUT TO BUY THEIRS!!! THAT WOULD BE THE PITS! TERRIBLE!!!
