Howard urges Australians to reflect on less fortunate over Christmas

The Prime Minister has asked the community to remember those suffering in conflict zones and areas of natural disasters this Christmas.

In his annual Christmas message John Howard says while the economy may be prospering there are a number of people who are struggling.

Mr Howard says many Australians will be thinking of those who are lonely at this time of year, and has urged the community to spare a thought for those in war zones.
