in search of a suppository ....At the risk of sounding disrespectful, yesterday’s front page photograph of Tony Abbott, in rosebud’s Daily Terror, gave me the impression that the lycra-clad, barefoot, prime ministerial budgie-smuggler in-waiting was in desperate need of a suppository!!

bugger ....So, Tony Abbott will become Australia's 28th prime minister because he never really buggered it up like many thought he would; whilst Labor buggered it up at almost every step. In other words, we now have a Prime Minister & government elected by default or, as others might put it, “the lesser of two evils”.

US and UK intelligence have reportedly cracked technology used to encrypt internet services such as online banking, medical records and email. Disclosures by leaker Edward Snowden allege the US National Security Agency (NSA) and the UK's GCHQ are hacking key online security protocols. The encryption techniques targeted are used by popular internet services such as Google, Facebook and Yahoo. The NSA is said to spend $250m (£160m) a year on the top secret program.
