no-one asks kamala harris to dumb down......WE'VE BEEN THERE BEFORE... BUT, WE NEED A LAUGH.... KAMALA HARRIS AND A.I. (ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71C-inf1xr0&t=189s The cackling goofball is at it again: Greg GutfeldGreg Gutfeld and guests discuss Vice President Kamala Harris’ explanation of artificial intelligence on ‘Gutfeld!’
BUT THE REAL NEWS OF THE DAY IS ABOUT HUNTER'S LAPTOP, THE IRS ON THE BIDENS, THE WAY THE DoJ IS PROTECTING THE CROOKED BIDENS, ETC.... WE'VE BEEN THERE AS WELL...
when some piddley actor and fancy writer do the bidding for the warmongers of the democratic party......enough is enough — bring him home...... The US and its allies should seize the opportunity to sanction and prosecute the Wagner private military company in the wake of the aborted mutiny by its chief, Evgeny Prigozhin, according to two American celebrity activists. The call was made on Monday by actor George Clooney and author John Prendergast, who also served on the National Security Council under President Bill Clinton. They said there was an “unprecedented opportunity to counter” Russia’s influence in Africa by going after Wagner. In a column they wrote for The Economist magazine, Clooney and Prendergast described the private military company as one of Moscow’s “most successful foreign-policy initiatives during the past decade” and an “atrocity.”
the voice: vote YES.....enough is enough — bring him home...... The emphasis the No Campaign is putting on Thomas Mayo is a classic example. Thomas Mayo attended the Uluru gathering and afterwards travelled the country visiting hundreds of communities to explain the Voice. At each he movingly recited from memory the Uluru Statement of the Heart. His touring and campaigning has been funded by the Maritime Union of which he is a long time member and now an official.
criterionic conditions.....enough is enough — bring him home...... There is no chance of Türkiye becoming an EU member next year, European Commission spokesperson Peter Stano has said. Ankara recently agreed to unblock Sweden’s NATO accession bid, with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan claiming that Brussels should “open the way” to EU membership for his country in return. On Wednesday, Russia’s Izvestiya media outlet quoted Stano as saying that the “process of joining the EU takes years, not hours,” when asked about Türkiye being admitted into the bloc. He added that at present, Brussels is not even planning to grant Ankara visa-free status. For that to happen, Türkiye would have to meet “all the necessary criteria, which include human rights and political freedoms,” Stano pointed out.
NATO's rules are preparing war in the pacific........enough is enough — bring him home...... "NATO is strengthening dialogue and cooperation with its partners in the Indo-Pacific region – Australia, Japan, the Republic of Korea and New Zealand. In today’s complex security environment, relations with like-minded partners across the globe are increasingly important to address cross-cutting security issues and global challenges. The Indo-Pacific is important for the Alliance, given that developments in that region can directly affect Euro-Atlantic security. Moreover, NATO and its partners in the region share a common goal of working together to strengthen the rules-based international order."

MEANWHILE IN REALITY'S CORNER:
the aussie paradox: the water makes you fat......Economist Rory Robertson has been waging war on Big Sugar and Sydney University for more than a decade. Rory’s campaign has taken a sudden turn over recent days. James F Sice reports. Warning to Big Sugar and friends: Rory Robertson has stopped being polite. That’s not to say you won’t be getting his long emails, full of jibes, questions and copied en masse to Sydney University academics, the ABC, most MPs, leading scientists and medical journals and, well, anyone else who needs to know about the big “diabetes fraud”. BY James F Sice
it is a PROXY war, Jon......The claim that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is a proxy war is not borne out by recent history, nor supported by Russian democrats, Ukrainians of all stripes nor most Western Russia specialists. They mostly see its roots in an authoritarian Russian state and the revanchist views of Putin and his acolytes. Several recent articles in Pearls and Irritations embrace the notion that the conflict in Ukraine is a “proxy war” by the United States and its allies.
(not our John — we think about him daily)
the art of warfare alla french....The chaos that western ‘experts’ were expecting, ‘with libidinous excitement’, to unfold in Russia “which was certain to feature “Russians … killing Russians”, and with Putin “probably hiding somewhere.” – did arrive – except that it exploded in France, where it was not expected, with Macron on the ropes rather than it being Putin in Moscow. There is much to be distilled from this interesting inversion of expectations and of events – from a tale of two very different insurrections:
keeping poor people poor for purpose.......#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER - The Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Evicted reimagines the debate on poverty, making a "provocative and compelling" (NPR) argument about why it persists in America: because the rest of us benefit from it. "Urgent and accessible . . . Its moral force is a gut punch."--The New Yorker
the “cable battle” of the babbling human species…It is often said that “necessity is the mother of invention”… According to Gus Leonisky (cartoonist since 1951), this is SOMEWHAT wrong. Necessity is the BASIC derivative of survival. Uncertainty and GREED are the parents of the invention of a BETTER MOUSETRAP. Humans are the greatest manipulators of uncertainty in nature. They CANNOT STOP BABBLING ABOUT IT. Most species have settled in the niche of their hunting grounds and selected pathways in evolution. All this bathes in an environment of luck and serendipity — in which bad luck can end up in disaster… Humans decided to invent PROTECTION AGAINST “BAD LUCK”… and “communicate” making sense or not. SO….
the evolving naked ambassadress of the empire......Barbara Millicent Roberts, or Barbie, was born March 9, 1959. The doll was launched at the American Toy Fair in New York City by the co-founder of Mattel Ruth Handler who named it after her daughter. Sixty-four years later and the popularity of Barbie has not waned. She's the world's top-selling doll.
an experienced negotiator.......US special envoy for climate John Kerry arrived in Beijing on Sunday for a three-day visit aimed at renewing bilateral cooperation on climate change between the world’s two biggest polluters. His trip follows on the heels of two other high-profile visits by US officials in recent weeks after years of tension between Beijing and Washington.
you burn our sacred book, we complain and we get F-16s plus cash, to forgive.....Notice how Islam’s Holy book gets desecrated whenever the West is undergoing a crisis and is desperate to either ignite an anti-Muslim public frenzy or distract from its own failures, writes Ramzy Baroud. Desecrating, then burning the Holy Quran in Sweden has, once again, raised a political storm of condemnation but also of justification, if not outright approval [after a protester, with police permission, burned Islam’s holy book outside a Stockholm mosque last month.]
nothing new in the kingdom/planet of the flattering apes.....SYCOPHANTS When I watch these Lords, with authority Seeing themselves commanding at their rank, With a daring brow, walk flank by flank, It seem I see a small pinch of divinity.
But seeing them turn pale when His Holiness Spit in a basin, and from their white face Carefully spy if there's blood, Then with a little laugh they feign that all’s safe.
O how I say then, the greatness I see Is made miserable by the cost of a king’s greatness! Unhappy is who spends cash to buy the largess!
Truly the murderous sword and the heavy rock fear Hang above the head of these Lords here, Since on an old spew depends all their happiness.
MONKEYS Lord, I can't look favourably in good faith
hellywood goes on strike.....The last time Hollywood actors and screenwriters went on strike at the same time, Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor were among its biggest stars. Their films were temporarily halted, while the actors' union – led by Ronald Reagan, two decades before he became the US president – hammered out an agreement with studios. Back then, performers were fighting for what are known as "residuals" — payments made to actors when their films were later broadcast on television. Residuals became commonplace over the more than 60 years that followed, but streaming services have now up-ended the way they're paid. Actors and writers are also grappling with a very modern challenge, warning they face an "existential threat" from artificial intelligence (AI).
