It's like David versus Goliath... The small fellow can sometimes win....

We need to develop the software, the organisational infrastructure and technique, and at the same time the culture and etiquette of these online systems of civic activity. We need to find ways for freedom of expression to work with accountability and courtesy. We need to find ways for directionality and purpose to emerge from the chaos of open dialogue on an innumerability of issues and concerns. We need to find ways for there to be equity and access without sacrificing constitutional integrity to the whims of organised saboteurs or usurpers.

In this programme, Andrew Gilligan examines the CIA’s practice of abducting terrorist suspects & transferring them to states such as Egypt & Syria, where torture is routine. The programme also exposes the British government’s refusal to condemn the use of torture by the government of Uzbekistan, for the sake of the ‘evidence’ it produces: ‘selling our souls for dross’, in the words of the former British Ambassador.

I believe this site should be an essential forum, not so much to expose the present deceit from the man, but to dig deep into his past to show how ingrained his rotten views are.

PART ONE BUYING THE WAR Many complex factors are at play in trying to understand why is it that many, oh so many people simply regard what's going on in Iraq as a 'done deal'?... Or have no idea about what went on.. Say, people do not care much about the rest of the world when the sun shines in their backyard... One could write a whole thesis if it had not been done already (has it?). One thing for sure, we’re not the only ones in the same boat asking why people “do not want to understand or see the lies about it

As we busy ourselves for our traditional ANZAC celebrations, in memory of those servicemen & women who gave their lives on our behalf, perhaps we should reflect on the values imbued in that fine tradition & what they really mean to us today?
